    Yeah, I posted in a thread a while back that I thought our new recruits would be a big part of this team I also remember a "knaght fan" telling me I didn't understand how college football works. Why are they still posting here all the time anyway?

    Yes, it's amazing that so many were willing to give Seth all benefits of doubt despite mediocre year after mediocre year. Jim Has had astronomical success, runs into a mediocre couple of years (because we have no QB), and everyone thinks we can get steve spurrier or someone like that for $450k/year. Our recruiting is going way up thanks to Big East / new facilities, things will be very good in a couple of years........chill!

    Actually, one of the easiest positions to come in and make an immediate impact is at running back. Commentators of NFL games say that all the time too.

    I don't think smaza was saying they're better than us now, he's comparing them year by year. Hiwaii, N. Texas, MTSU may not be top teams, but in OUR fourth year, we weren't beating teams even that good. In fact, our fourth year, MTSU beat the pi$$ & snot out of us.

    I don't think that was the argument being made above. At any rate, with a domed stadium, people don't have to weather the heat, rain, etc, plus every year more alumni who never knew not having football.......attendance will go up.

    Made it deep into 1-AA playoffs in their third year, 3-0 against D-1A teams so far in their fourth year.  I wouldn't be at all suprised to see the Big East invite these guys! That would sure hurt our recruiting in the Miami-Dade area!

    It's not hard to understand how they could dominate our offense but, that they scored 34 on our D, that they can be proud of.
