  1. Nada...I'm out. Not during week. Gotta save vacation days for Tampa luncheon, trip ot USC and UL.
  2. Why & how do you consider RJS a Bucs ownership type deal? Did the Bucs put any money in the kitty to pay for RJS. I think not. The Glazers/Bucs bullied their way to have control but its a "community" stadium. Our Hillsborough community leaders forgot/failed to make USF a partner 'cuz RJS was & is all about the Bucs. USF is just another tenant like the defunct MLS team. Wonder what would happen if USF did threaten to build a 38K stadium on campus w/the ablility to close in each EZ for a total of 20K total more seats 58K total. Think they would share the keys to theRJS executive wash room? Absolutely not. They force TSA to foot the bill. Question for the BBC'rs that went to the Polo grounds for the AllStar game in Jan. How were the accomodations? Would they be acceptable for 6 Bull home games? Secondly could a decent facility house football and baseball? Think Joe Robbie Stadium on a smaller scale?
  3. Louisville is tenative cuz its on Friday but I voted it.
  4. Bwaahahaha...but beer CAN be served on campus and there's plenty of parking on campus. And the campus is more centrally located between I275 & I75 for better access to the stadium. It would be such an improvem't to the campus experience. And just imagine the Ah-vee-awn-centz of an on campus stadium. Heehehehe...this boat is leaving the dock. This dog will hunt. There is no stopping this freight train thread.
  5. Good new...Swift won't play in the BE. He's a senior next yr. And yea he's definitely a defensive liability. Bad new, neither will Leather . Hoping Jones will pick up that slack and Diarra will find some athleticism. Bulls could have some starting size at the 4/5 w/those two in the first yr of BE play. BTW our guards will be 6' plus to w/Collins Holmes & Prekevius. Wonder if Mobley could play the 3?
  6. That's one thing I have faith in is CRM's work ethic, coaching ability, and level headed decision making.  W's beget good recruits and good recruits beget W's.  It's a vicious cycle.  While this recruiting class is appears to be just adequate I know RCM will make the difference up in coaching ability.  Another thing is the team is definitely deeper on paper than it was on the court in 2004-2005.
  7. Tenacity goes a long way but never overcomes equal tenacity that has superior speed, height, and shooting ability.
  8. It is arguable if Hakim wooda started during the last two yrs of Chonsey Asbury's tenure w/BB & Tron and then with Big Will (5) in the middle w/Tron (3) & BB (4).
  9. Not to knock our the Bull past greats but Hakim played Sun Belt basketball unlike Mr. Mobley who will play BE ball.  Comparison falls short.  Mobley seems to be an odd signing. I see Brigman & Diarra & some Jones at the 5 with Leather, Jones & Mobley at the 4 spot.  TL will see some time at the 3 and even the 5 if CRM goes athletic or there is foul trouble.  Prekevicius will primarily be a three but I can see him drift to the 2 maybe even 4 when shooters are needed.  I know the 1 is Swift w/Collins making a big push by conference play  and Mosley spending some time here too.  The 2 is a lock for Mosley w/Holmes, Bryant and Flowers(?) backing up I saw someone mention that Brian Graham could come back.  I'd like to see it.  He would give the team solid depth at the 2-3.  Might even be worthy of Mobley's schollie.  I see .500 ball 2004-05 as possible w/o any significant injuries and a cake OOC schedule.
  10. Depends on what matters to USF or if the conference reg. season championship is still viable for our Bulls.  You pick. An easier path 2 the the second week of NCAA baseball playoffs or a conference championship.  My pick is conference c'ship 'cuz I think our Bulls are a stretch for Omaha. BTW, rather see our Bulls go to Miami for the NCAA regional instead of Tallahassee.
  11. OH STOP! Ur so silly! I prefer Sun. over Mon. and Sat. over Fri. Sun. & Mon. Thank you very much. Just remember. ITS ALL ABOUT MY NEEDS. Are ya seeing the big picture now?
  12. With a legitimate running game, Ronnie has the better arm. He's my pick for QB but if the OL can't push any beef around then PJ is my pick.
  13. Providence Christian has a team huh? Was wondering where my 8 yr, 95 lb'r would play guard or DT at when he starts high school.
  14. Not monumental...?!  How about cataclyzmic of armagedon proportions?!  Probably not that either.  All's it really is is an inconvenience but it IS the 3rd time in less than a yr.  Is Tampa's TV market that important?  USF will be known as that university that plays on all the holidays.  BTW I like the idea of playing on T'giving in RJS at 12pm with an open week the Sat. before.  Ya know this post is almost to dramatic to post  . While I am not happy about the move it really doesn't affect if I go or not.
  15. BHB I think it will be the opposite. Folks will go out of town or to the beach for the weekend. Drive home early Monday and be tired. Instead of considering walking up & buying a ticket & sitting in the 4 pm heat, they'll just stay home in the A/C, save the money and watch the games on ESPN. I know at my age, by the end of any 3 day weekend I need to chill out and recover for work on Monday or Tuesday. I believe I have presidence here too. It's happened in the past. The rule of thumb is if you can watch the Bulls on the tube, why spend the money. You must consider most posting here are die-hards. Getting that extra 5K in attendance comes from the curious, casual fan. Heck, there may have been holiday weekend issues on Saturday nite. Just look at the Green n Gold game over the Easter weekend.
  16. Sigh...attendance will drop 8-10K to 30K instead of a potential 38.5-40K. BTW there is no reason this game couldn't be televised Sat. nite. The Pitt@USF is a top 5 game maybe top 3 for the labor day w'end. IMO the only positive of playing Monday nite is cash. USF should be getting $350K plus to move this game.
  17. Not a lot of BE teams on that list except UL & UCONN.
  18. Star QBs make close to $70K/season. Most starters make $40K/season which is not to bad for a BA or BS degreed college student right out of school.
  19. The USM loss was the hardest for me to digest.
  20. I'm for a 1n1 vs FSU, GA, GaTech, USC, Clemson, NC, NCState, Wake Forest or Duke.  I would prefer for our Bulls to stay on this side of the Missisippi River and south of the Mason Dixon line. BTW, I'd luv to see GaSouthern on the Bull schedule in RJS. Revengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. Well Lord I want my Bulls to lighten you load. ;D
  21. Makes sense. New BE game and then a a new ACC game. However Pitt@USF would definitely be the first game so we're talking a 3:30 kickoff. That could be good for USF. You know the whole Florida heat thing and all.
  22. I to was worried about the O but I did pick up a positive thought reading the posts here. I believe its safe to say the Bulls are deepest at LB & DL. OL starters probaby have two levels of talent after 6 maybe 7 meaning the over all quality of OL play is definitely below par. It would of been nice to watch 1s on 1s at sometime Sat. but I"m not the HC. I think the Bull D will not lose anything. I'm definitely concerned with the WRs hands. I think Kraky could be a solid No. 2 and will really push PJ hard next yr. Sorry I missed the BBC t'gate. I brought my Dad and he wanted to eat "inside" instead of eating picnic food.
