    This should’ve been a blowout, but I have to say questionable playcalling several times in critical situations during this game been a challenge all year

    BTW isn’t that what you’re supposed to do to an inferior team beat them by 40. Obviously as the schedule gets tougher they will be tested but this is a good sign.

    They’re shooting 80% from the free throw line, name me team did they beat this bad over the last five years no matter how bad the opponent was

    I don’t think it’s 100% coaching. The defensive front seven is more talented than last year as evidenced by more tackles for losses and more sacks & pressure. The problem is they really need to upgrade the talent level in the secondary. Players are running free in the secondary almost every play. I don’t remember the last time I saw tight coverage on a receiver. any team with a decent quarterback will give USF Trouble

    Seriously it’s almost not worth watching. It’s pitch in catch for Memphis, receivers are wide open everywhere. They have to come up with a solution because they can’t cover. And they’re not capable of keeping up offensively they make too many mistakes they need a defense that can at least compete in order to win

    It’s the ninth game of the season you would’ve figured they would’ve had something corrected in a defensive backfield just terrible

    This is a problem all year good quarterbacks will eat this team up they can’t cover anybody God is like a Chinese fire drill in the defense of secondary

    Terrible call but worse than that. They haven’t even made a tackle in Defense yet. They look slow and rusty. This could get uglier and uglier, unless they get a break.

    A few observations, I still believe that Golich is getting his bearings when it comes to being a head coach. His offensive playcalling is erratic. It’s hard to determine what their identity is. Seems like they run three plays in pass three plays. Connecticut was much better coached. The only difference was they made way more mistakes, dropping balls, and those kind of things. And on the defense I’m not sure that they know how to cover or have the talent to cover anybody that being said four and four is a huge improvement. Hopefully they get two more wins and get to a bowl. GO BULLS

    The defensive backs were a weakness, waiting to be exposed. You would think that they could coach them up obviously not. The play-calling is really mind-boggling at times. The first three play calls of the game were mystifying . The first three offensive plays of the second half mystifying the calls on third and five mind blowing. Just like last year. The problem with this team is Defense. It’s hard to explain how they can be out of position so often. You don’t even need to be an accurate quarterback, because receivers are so wide open. I hope they ask some probing questions. And not just the same old baloney.

    Totally amazing they don’t cover anybody I mean they’re not close to the receiver it’s like pitch in catch I would never run it. I just throw every play.

    It had nothing to do with crowd noise or anything else it was being poorly paired, especially on defense . Inexcusable performance.

    No question this is the most embarrassing loss in recent memory and we’ve had a lot of them. I don’t know what happened to the defence, but my God 600 yards or maybe 700 yards to this team wow! missed tackles, bad positioning, holy mackerel

    They weren’t prepared to play this game. Sluggish. Not aggressive. Miss tackles. Missed opportunities. You a B just wanted it more time for a gut check for this team

    It’s like they’re playing in mud. Bad defense bad play calling just terrible all around they should be ashamed of this performance.

    This defense is more physical they tackle better and more disciplined. Only challenge is avoiding the big mental mistakes like they had today and against rice. after being down 14 to nothing they outscored navy 44-15 what a difference a coaching makes!!!

    Big win. There’s no question This team is tough and the defense is light years ahead of last year and they can at least rush the passer. There’s about four or five players in this game that if they make this school would even been bigger, which is the which is pretty amazing when they clean that up and I believe Golesh will get that done. This team will be very very good.

    The defense had that drive stoped three times. They missed two interceptions and a sack on fourth down. When you give an office that many opportunities they’re gonna hurt you got to make the play when the opportunity arises. The difference between winning and losing.

    I think the offience will struggle for most of the year because they don’t have any real play makers at wide receiver. Hopefully the defense continues to improve and the offense gets proficient enough to win.some games

    After three games, what seems clear is they are lacking any real playmakers on the outside. It’s why the offense has not hit on all cylinders It’s was the difference yesterday. They were really overmatched against Bama’s defensive backs. They competed physically in every other phase of the of the game. watching Colorado last night, they really miss Weaver & Horn especially Weaver who I think has next level talent hopefully somebody steps up or they have a sufficient talent to compete with the rest of teams on their schedule.

    I loved the press conference, if his actions back up his attitude and what he says, I think he has a chance to be really successful
