    I liked the kid, was a role player that did his job, he would have stayed if he could IMO had it not been for this silly 5th year grad transfer rule. Why can’t they play their grad year at the school they are at? The system is so ****** up anyways so what does it matter.

    It is weird how this evolved, I spent hours years ago learning the the draft class and still remember where players 10 years ago played high school, nowadays lost complete interest and can only name 15-20 players right now. I am with you, trust Golesh to bring in some players and see how this all shakes out in September.

    I am not asking you to be bitter? Just wonder why you are happy he left, it appears you think we can do better which I don’t disagree yet we still needed the depth. College sports is now a revolving door, root for the team, players come and go. I don’t find joy or sadness when they leave, I just move on, appears you still have an affinity towards them regardless, to each their own.

    The USFL got 3 bucks from the NFL in an award, millions in court costs. By my calculations they should receive anywhere from 6 to 8 dollars once the dust settles.

    I agree with this 100 percent however find it humorous you are happy for him leaving our school. You probably were in the generation everyone got a trophy. Who cares, dude is in the wind, him finding success or failure does nothing for me either way however I am not happy we lost him and the needed depth. I liken it to the dog track, I would root feverishly for that dog for that race, once the race ends I am handicapping the next one, that dog is forgotten, I don’t need to see a thread on what happens to him at Louisville.

    They did not want to put in an effort because they were getting smashed either way, the strategic plan was act like you weren’t trying to try conflate the issue if they were actually deserving, it was their only play.

    I read this thread twice because it was so bad that I wanted to see if that was even possible, unfortunately it was. Outlaw there was no sarcasm font on your statement, Trips called you out and somehow you missed his point or attempted to deflect because he caught you in a fib, either way you are better than that and I am not better for opining on this ridiculous argument.

    This argument has always lacked merit and is silly. If you hate another team then that is what constitutes a rivalry, proximity and similarities make it a no brainer. If you are scared to interact with them, don’t attend the game and watch it on TV. Most of our fans would enjoy the contest.

    We don’t have SMU money so don’t worry about that. The B1G does need to get into Florida IMO, alumni and favorable road games coupled with a new big audience. I personally don’t think there is a shot in hell but some of your best and brightest are wrong from time to time so who knows. I could post a pic of me at the beach consuming numerous beers with my shirt off to maybe entice them to give us a look, to show them what they are missing.
