  1. In my opinion the back to back tenures of Strong and Scott set the program back about 15 years.
  2. Well if Golesh turns out to be a disaster I am pretty certain MK will be fired or reassigned to a position where he is not making coaching hires.
  3. Some of my co-workers and I still laugh about what a horrid coach Jeff Scott was. How in the world did he ever bamboozle MK into hiring him? I wonder if MK was hoodwinked some by Dabo during the hiring process, who knows? It’s the one concern I have about Golesh……what if MK was hoodwinked again?
  4. Golesh gets a pass this season due to the titanic mess left behind by the Strong and Scott regimes. We should know about midway to late in the 2024 season whether Golesh is the man or not. Regardless he is going to get three years just like Scott received.
  5. Wasn’t there someone on here who kept saying the Big 12 was dead and how ucf was joining a dying conference? Lol yeah right.
  6. I will still prefer USF to earn $30M over $8 to $9M. It’s a no brainer. There is a reason that all teams are dying to escape the AAC lol.
  7. I would have to say that $40-$50 million per year is a hell of a lot better than $7 million a year, especially when you have a stadium to pay off .
  8. Agreed. I would take the Big 12 in a heartbeat if they were the only offer. IMO it would be awesome playing Cincinnati, West Virginia and ucf again. Bring it on.
  9. I would take the PAC in a heartbeat if it was the only offer. While not my first choice, the important thing would be getting the hell out of the AAC.
  10. Yep, as if the pressure to win for Golesh wasn’t intense enough already…..now with AAU status
  11. It’s because minor league college football is normally relegated to the minor league sports network carriers.
  12. Just began a subscription with YouTube TV and I am glad they carry CBS Sports Network.
  13. No road games for me and I will be at 5 of the 6 home games (only missing the Rice game on 9/23).
  14. Not eventually. If Golesh is a disaster, MK will be a goner and someone else will be trying to find that elusive winning football coach .
  15. Four wins in three seasons.........thanks Jeff Scott.
  16. I am back for the season, although its a psychological disorder that keeps me coming back (kidding). The only home game I am going to miss this season is the Rice game, since I will be in Vegas that weekend for the Raiders/Steelers game. The OCS is my carrot on a stick that keeps me coming back. If that OCS falls through...............
  17. Agreed. These next three seasons at RayJay are going to be brutal. I can just imagine how dead and depressing that Charlotte game will be Thanksgiving weekend zzzzzzzzzzx
  18. And it wasn't terribly hard to figure out this was going to happen back when these extensions were announced in January 2022.
  19. Agree with him on that. I figure it will be about halfway through the 2024 season when it will become clear if he is "the guy" or not. I think most of us figured out Jeff Scott wasn't the guy after that embarassing loss to Tulane in November 2021. We should know alot about Golesh about midway through Year 2. With that being said, even if it looks like Golesh was a mistake, and its halfway through his Year 2, I do think he should still be given a third season to try to correct the ship. If Jeff Scott can get a year three with a 3-18 record, then Golesh certainly would deserve that as well.
