I got no ill will towards Blake. He did win us some games last year, but he is not built to be the QB of our offense under KB. McCloud provided a spark and life to an anemic offense. Blake ran well, but his passing needs work and time to be effective. Our offensive line does not provide the time and we cannot develop him under KB. Look at McCloud in the pocket and he looks more natural. Blake just doesn't pass the eye test. He looks uncomfortable and is not moving the chains or getting in the endzone. HE is a good backup and mentor to have, but his time as our starter has passed. He has been a positive leaders for our team and has done nothing wrong. The results are not showing on the field. I wish him the best and would love to see him come in next time McCloud's helmet falls off.

Way too long is being generous, but the execution was way too late because of the lack of preparation of the coaching staff to realize Blake is not the answer.

He could also focus on spending more time with his wife. That will not be a bad choice.

Charlie Strong has created an undisciplined and sloppy football culture in his tenure here. It took 7 quarters for them to realize that we need to play McCloud. I get not putting him in versus Wisconsin once we were already down big. I do not understand why he didn't get a chance until basically the 4th quarter. At some point Strong needs to take responsibility for all the penalties on the field. i have read on the TEXAS and Louisville forums that was is operating MO. How do we stop committing penalties and being sloppy? Charlie talks about lack of preparation and executing and is a strict disciplinarian but it does not show on the field at all. The only bright spot about this game was McCloud. We waited too long for him to take control of the offense. The offense does not play well when Blake is under center. The refs botched the fumble/td call but McCloud left the drive because he lost his helmet again. We need to super glue his straps on or get him a smaller helmet size.

The fumble is not on him, but for some reason the offense does not respond or produce when he is under the center in Bell's offense.

Do we have any backups that can suck worse than our LT situation. The coaches should move Atterbury back to guard/center where he was recruited.

Penalties and waiting way too long to put McCloud in is what cost us the game. The lack of discipline on the field and penalties have been brutal under CCS.

We get screwed by the fumble that was a TD. I understand head contact was made, but Macon already was low and the Qb lowered his helmet into Macon. Why is the QB not penalized for targeting of Macon? I do not understand when an offensive players lowers his helmet into a defensive player that it is the defensive players fault.

WE were not prepared and did not execute. We need to take less penalties because I am a great disciplinarian. I just saved you the time.

We score points and lead a drive to be ruined by Blake again. Blake cannot motivate the team or lead the offense.

KB figured McCloud is the spark to fire the engine!

They need to hire Willie as a hydration specialist.

The defense is doing their job despite stupid penalties which is the CCS special. If McCloud leads us to another score and a comeback victory, hand him the keys.

Charlie gives another stop away with his disciplined approach to football.

We have found our offense and new QB! McCloud is scoring more than Blake did in 7 quarters. He looks more comfortable in the pocket. Blake always looks tense and nervous.
