You could make a case that he is the one who deserves a statute…he did so much in starting the program.
well then--lets enact a "statute" in his honor. possibly there needs to be a law at USF re: witch hunts and character defamation. had to do it. saw brads reference then your typo and presto! mind over matter took over.
HOF is nice recognition for these 3 and the others to date. Maybe others will be included that are also deserving. QF was a thrill to behold.

Ha ha that's funny. He actually was breaking a lot of tackles as well. @Outlaw He has a few Jet Sweeps in these highlights.
His speed, vision and moves were just too much for those high school kids. Sarasota Sailor? I knew he was a Sarasota guy but not which school he went to.

I know high school footage doesn't always translate to success in college, but his footage was ALL long runs lol I was like 5 minutes of people chasing him at least 3ft behind him.
logic dictates: Battie has always been small, so he was prob running away from bigger guys early on in life. He perfected it to an All American level. No sense taking hits if you can just outrun them...

Never know, early (9-3) the USF Bulls the "turn around season" is this game. USF played them pretty strong last season but..fell short. They could spin it that way to build some hype??

Yup, this. I think they will and should build our stadium with bleacher style seats in a basic horse shoe bowl with basic suites on one side and a second deck in the other. As long as the structure is of it is very good quality, we can add amenities with renovations in the future. Most of the major college football stadiums evolved from this.
Yeah, use the aluminum bleacher seats like Georgia tech has that way the visiting teams fans can go home with 2nd degree burns on their butt cheeks....Hot Hot beyond Hot

Oh, just give them Free admission-Free food-Free T-shirts and cheap Beer...If its Free they will come

<16 year topic>Funny, some things seem to never age. Tents? Back in the day these tailgate tents were purchased for fun and frolic. Nowadays, they could be utilized for survival situations.

He’s a safety, recruited by Bob Shoop. I have a couple of search terms in Twitter that turn up Bulls-related links. Not that hard but thanks for the credit.
Easier to praise & thank you for your effort than roam around the internet..

You have your thumb on the pulse of the sporting world..and you must prowl around a lot. Nice info(thanks) and hopefully a sustained commit. Whats the position..I'm lazy so I'm bugging you. I think Trickett was prob a very good add to the recruiting ability at USF along with the others already in place.

We are showing 7 RB's on the current roster. I would think that Mangham, Dukes and Joiner will be the trio. Battie? To be seen where he is utilized besides special teams. Mangham is the biggest body. Dukes was supposed to be a prize get from the portal. Joiner could do big things if he is given the ball-he kinda reminds me of D.Johnson. Didn't we get a big D lineman who had been used as a short yardage Frig-type RB somewhere else??

Very nice article in Detroit News. I'm sure Mr. Mangham appreciates some hometown coverage. It appears the writer, Richard Silva is a USF grad- Alright Go Bulls! I expect big things from Mangham this season I hope it's his bust-out season and our teams too. USF getting a little love in the State of Michigan. Odd part is, I use to deliver the Detroit News when I was a kid. Yes, back then it was words printed on paper(not stone)-amazing.

I'd love to see a live (Brahma) bull at the games. But I don't see that happening. At least bring back the rampaging bull opening video ramming through the cargo boxes falling off of a flatbed. I always liked when he ran through the Rutgers one. Lots of our fans and students weren't even around when we used it.
Texas has the Longhorn they run around with prior to a game (or did). Probably if you raised one from a calf it might be somewhat docile?? Problem is, when they are around 600-800lbs+ they pretty much decide how things go. I saw a full-grown Brahman Bull clear a 5' high fence. It was amazing how graceful he did it. It was hell getting it back into the pasture took about 5 people.

2 QB's pumping some iron but neither has ever played a snap as yet for USF. Would appear they are serious about their commitments and challenging the status quo. Good for them and us. Oh where, oh where are the 2 past starters? Both of them could use some beefing up.
