Anyone heard as to when they will be be back. I don't listen to the broadcast if there's a FB live feed because it throws me off.  Have they said anything about their injuries?

What do you guys think about Alec Wisely? 

We have seen him start a game on the mound and come in relief. 

How do you see him moving forward? Is he more valuable as a midweek starter, or high leverage Reliever?  Would you rather see him focus on the offensive side of the game, if he is to serve as our DH?

I will apologize as my final thoughts are little to big for one post so it must be broken in to two. but here they are.

The Bulls offense exploded this afternoon with 13 hits and 13 runs. The Villar, Chatfield and Dutka part of the order continued to be productive combining for 4 hits and 7 RBI’s on the day. Dutka Came threw with a big three run homerun to break the game open and the Bulls never looked back.

Breakout star of the game goes to Montez who provided an explosion of offense of his own with 4 hits , 2 runs and 1 RBI. This comes after being shut out in all categories in the previous two games.  The Bulls also found their feet on the base paths as Chatfield, Phillips, and Montez all swiped a bag today.

 Bulls defense plays another error free ball game lead by Montez and Dutka who combined for 6 put outs and 8 assist. Dietrich caught another Rams base runners attempting to take second, that his second is as many games.

Not the best outing from Sullivan who pitched only 4 innings while striking out 2. The problems came by way of base runners of all kinds. The Rams managed 5 hits, 3 walks, and 2 HBP. He battled through the adversity however and came out with two earned runs to his credit. King, Ragsdale and Holmes all gave quality performances in relief. Each pitcher threw for one inning each and none allowed for a run to score. Eason Ran into some trouble in the 8^th as the rams scored two earned runs on 1 hit and 2 walks.  Burns was called in to close the game in a non- save opportunity and executed perfectly.

At the end of this series the Bulls proved to be the stronger and deeper team. The relief pitchers were stellar as they combined to throw 12 innings and only allowed three earned runs.

The player of the series was Tyler Dietrich, as mentioned before he caught two rams stealing, played very tough behind the plate and most importantly added 6 hits, and three RBI’s that went a long way to providing the bulls with their game two win.

Notable performances also include the two- way players the Bulls Showcased. Wisely and Ragsdale combined to pitch 4 shutout innings, while also serving in the batting order.  Two- way players give a roster a lot of versatility so we will see how they are used moving forward.

Bulls return to action on Wednesday in Daytona to take on Bethune- Cookman in a regional rematch.  I predict Wisely to get the start and I am hoping to see him get stretched out a little further to see if he could be a viable Sunday Starter later on.

Zech's Ground rule double would have scored Montez. 

But that doesnt matter because the Villar, chatfield, and Dutka part of the order is absolute  the moment

Sorry I am a little late. I missed the first inning but I am glad to see chatty in the clean up spot. He has been swinging a hot bat. Shot himself in the foot on the base paths though.

Final thoughts on game two.

Almost seemed like the exact opposite of last night. We got some breaks early, like Villar getting a ground ball to go through and a couple bunts for a hit. Dietrich was a beast tonight going 4-4 with two doubles and all three RBI’s. The combination of Villar and Dukta was especially effective as they both got on base in consecutive trips through the order to apply pressure to the Fordham defense. Our defense came to play tonight, with an error free game and a few web gems in the field.

We didn’t get quite the start from Strzelecki that we got from Mcclanahan, but he did strike out nine batters to match the ace. Three walks in five innings is still something to improve on. The Bulls got another quality relief outing, as Wisely came in, and threw three innings scoreless while striking out three Rams. Perez recorded his second save of the season, but also gave up a HR in the ninth. He has now given two homeruns; this is something to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

My player of the game would be Tyler Dietrich for his stellar performance at the plate. After loading the bases, the Bulls had two bad at bats with RISP, however Dietrich came through with two outs to clear the bases and give the Bulls all they needed for a victory. Overall good win, still work to do, but looks like the Bulls are set to take the series tomorrow afternoon.

Opposing catchers have a discussion after a play at the plate. Dug outs cleared but nothing occurred. Commentators mentioned words exchanged in game one. Could be some bad blood brewing here.

yeah, im listening. While I appreciate the commentators, I just would rather see it than hear it. Heard that Villlar hit a ball off the end of the bat that found a way through. Hope we keep getting the breaks tonight.  

I didn't get to watch this because the FB live feed switched pages mid AB and all I saw was the celebration by the time I got the new page up. The postgame show mentioned it was a robbed HR but I'm not sure that it would have left the yard or not but it certainly would have cut the lead in half. 

I guess theres no Facebook live feed for game two.
