  1. I don't like the addition of Mississippi St. as our opening game. That's a tough 3.
  2. https://d1baseball.com/projections/projected-field-64-may-9/ TALLAHASSEE 1 Florida State (10) 4 Sam Houston State* 3 Mississippi State 2 South Florida D1Baseball's Projected Field of 64: May 9 GAINESVILLE 1 Florida* (1) 4 Hartford* 3 Florida Atlantic 2 Jacksonville Athens 1 Georgia (4) 4 Campbell* 3 Michigan 2 Coastal Carolina* Now heading to Tally, Still not worse case scenario, Some can argue that FSU is a better match up for us and some will just want to get out of the state of Florida. At the end of the day, its not G-villie and that's a plus.
  3. Smoltz and Glavin too. They just took pride in being an all around ball player instead of just a pitcher. When you read Smoltz's book he talks about how they wanted to compete in all aspects of the game including hitting and especially their defensive abilities from the mound. Obviously their is only one GG to go around and that usually went to the MadDawg (18 times!!) but the other two were good too. Lots of lesson for pitchers in observing how that rotation went about their business.
  4. Well as long as our tuition rates are comparable, then I don't think its that big of a deal. If it bothers a potential students that bad that they have to pre pay for athletics they can always go to a different school. Its not like we are even the only institution in town. I don't agree with adding a fee for the stadium though.
  5. Do USF students pay to go to athletic events at all? I never did, just walked in with ID.

  7. USF’s Claudio Correa named AAC golfer of the year, Bradley top coach "Nine days after winning the individual title at the American Athletic Conference tournament at Innisbrook, USF senior Claudio Correa has been named the conference's men's golfer of the year. Fourth-year Bulls coach Steve Bradley, whose team won its fourth consecutive league title in wire-to-wire fashion over 54 holes, was named coach of the year. Bradley leads the No. 4-seeded Bulls into the NCAA's Kissimmee Regional, which begins May 14 at Reunion Resort's Watson Course." Congrats, Claudio and Coach Bradley. DiMarco and Jones also made the All- Conference Team.
  8. Bucs to induct Tony Dungy into Ring of Honor on Sept. 24 "Tony Dungy, the Hall of Fame coach who guided the Bucs to four playoff appearances in five years to set up the team's lone Super Bowl championship, will be inducted into the team's Ring Of Honor this fall. Dungy, 62, will be honored during the Bucs' Sept. 24 home game on Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team Dungy played for in 1977-78." Well deserved.
  9. yeah I don't think this will take up too much of his time while also serving as good PR
  10. I think the he showed the plate more of his numbers than his chest at the point of contact with one foot in the air.
  11. So let me get this straight. 8.2 innings pitched and he's still throwing triple digits........

  13. I agree, tournament baseball will be a struggle to get outs. We will need to top end guys to get as many as possible and that might not be enough.
  14. He started with baseball in the Dominican Republic. Now he's getting football offers
  15. They have pretty much been winning his game since the third inning. It just took the score board a while to catch up
  16. To be fair, couldn’t choosing one also chase other away? Maybe not O if we go with Kean but I wouldnt be surprise to see Kean transfer if O gets the job. I think Barnett is just here to see how this goes and start his post college life. Maybe he gives us a flash of what everyone saw in high school.
  17. Hey @Brad if you are watchInch yet. Check out the way the UF reliever (#34) finishes his pitches.
  18. Those killed us last inning. Give that lineup a little bit to get going and they may never stop.
  19. Stuart battled but that a tough lineup for a Fr. Big time for the bull pen to bow their chest settle this down.
