I disagree. Yes the Rays are outside the box. They have a plethora of arms to combat all types of hitters.
But you still need a top end Starter or 2 to make an all around great pitching staff imo.
Snell has been getting more and more consistent since the injuries. He did have too high of a pitch count before. But he seems to his best days ahead of him. We would be foolish to let him go....Love Morton too be is getting oldish and not as dominant.
All the rays really want is for the starter to get through the rotation two times and have no problem using a an opener. Top end guys separate themselves by being able to into the third time through. That’s not a necessity in Tampa’s philosophy. They can sell high on Snell and still do what they want.

There really isn’t a need for top end starter in this system. I also can’t imagine any starter who fancy’s themselves a one or a two wanting to be in this system. I could see Glasnow leaving at the first chance, that is if he isn’t dealt before he gets a chance to.

And now Morton is officially gone. Rays doing Rays things.

He had to move training camp across the State in an effort to unite the guys that loved CJL with the others.

If I remember correctly, we had five losses by less than one score in 2012. I remember thinking that our defense just could not get a stop under 2 mins. could have changed his perception here a little bit. Cosh's defense was rough.

I think him being our leading tackler could say more about the 7 in front of him than anything.

I really couldn't care less what channel we are on, just get some commentators who care about their job enough to read the roster before the game.

the bubble screens and and now routes are fine and rarely get into the grey area. however, 9 out of 10 RPOs break the rule with OL moving downfield. it's something they will look at once Saban sets his sights on it.

It's only been one week of football but rutgers didn't score 38 points against the big ten combined last season. I don't believe they are the bottom dwellers of the big ten anymore.
Edit: they scored roughly 50 points against the big ten last season including a 27 point shutout loss to MSU.

All WR are blockers until the ball crosses the line up scrimmage

In my opinion CF has been the guy the whole time not sure what coach knows that I don't.
Per speculation, but I think it went something like this.
Quarantine
Limited practice before Cincy and shuffled to the back
After a couple good weeks of practice was given another opportunity by the ones in front of him
BOOM. hurt.

Looking for someone a little more in tune with modern college offenses. Not a coordinator from 30 years ago.
Bowden retired when he realized the game had changed.
Weis very well may come into his own, but he needs help right now and right now I see him trying to fit players into his offense, not the other way around as is needed.
Most guys interested in mentor gigs are pretty old.
I would also argue that though there is more eye candy these days. A lot of the same principles still apply today as they did 30 years ago.
Bowden retired when he figured out that he didn’t want to keep up anymore, not when the game passed him by.

We're small, not physical, and not as athletic as we should be. The roster purge, sub-par recruiting, over reliance on the portal, and bad S&C under CCS were on full display last night.
I think the overuse of the portal might be put new way of life and I don’t think we can help it.

This is a pathetic conversation, to be sure. At face, a grown man who knew the rules acting as if he was put out to wear a mask because he was so offended and it was so hard.
One last thing, the anti-masker crowd is pathetic. I’m in Spain where not virtually a single face is without a mask for the love of their country and fellow countryman. They actually take pride in it. Love your country. The least patriotic group of Americans I’ve ever witnessed are this group of Americans generating any excuse to not wear a mask despite the scientific evidence to the contrary. People acting as if wearing a mask is a ‘big lift’ for them. They’re so ‘put out’. You know, like they’re being forced into donating pooled plasma without consent or donating a kidney for their fellow man.
Grow up and be an American. You’re honestly pathetic.
I hope one day I can be a hero like you

The TSA is way more concerned with covering their ass than USF having..........well anything nice.

Cade looked a little bit like what we were expecting. I’m thinking he wasn’t really ready from a practice standpoint his first game and then this one got cut short. Hoping for the best and his shoulder

I truly believe Weis needs an offensive guru (I guess they call it offensive analyst now) as a mentor. I think he is in over his head so far. And Scott is learning too.
You mean like a former OC for Bobby Bowden?

Did the announcers want to review a catch where they completely missed the football?
Were the Slime uniforms top 3? **Just the uniform part, not the helmet.
