  1. Deadly and yet you've not lived till you've had a taste. It's been a loooooong time.
  2. On a serious note however, I have looked this kid up almost once a week for some time. I'm hoping we get him for sure.
  3. Fixing the turnovers....get a true point guard, stop standing still, and tossing stale passes would be a start. The way we hold a ball reminds me of Melo when he gets the ball, the offense just stops. Which is unfair, because there is a lot of ball reversal, but no one is athletic enough to turn the corner on a defender and crash the hoop (save for Z but it's his only move). Then again maybe they are fast enough to get around the defender, but they can't afford to expel that much energy because when they get tired there are limited bench options. I would like to think next year is going to be better in theory because he should have the bodies, but it is going to be such a different team next year who knows? Angel, Morillo and Cousins are gone. One has to think Baxter is going to hit the floor in Angels place. JMM or Peters will be shifting over to the two allowing for Thorpe and Feliz to run point. With Cousins gone we will see Guerrero eat up that playing time unless COA is VERY impressed by either Tulio or Manderson. Holston wil get good minutes but I can't imagine him starting next year. It would be best for him to gradually get back into it. That's already 5 new players into this years rotation. Progression would be hard to come by from anyone.
  4. You looking at the wrong one I have faith. If it were me I'd say give him until his freshman class were all seniors to get continuity and experience on the roster. It just seems like Tampa is destined to want to run coachs out fast.
  5. The announcers speak a lot about next year for us. But I hear a lot of optimism from everyone else.
  6. Who knows how Holston comes back? I hope to god he picks up where he left off, but it's not an easy task. my starting 5 Feliz, McMurray, Baxter, Santos, Perry Holston, Peters, Guerrero, Thorpe and Isaiah off the bench
  7. The Tulane coach has been there for 6 years and we want to oust ours in 2, at best 3. Sad commentary for us. I really want to sit in on the conversations between COA and the team after these games. Just out of curiosity
  8. how I feel about our work on the boards right now. as we let 2 offensive boards go.
  9. Guerrero is just flailing around down there, I was on his bandwagon at the end of last season but he is killing me. If you didn't see this coming, put Santos in the game!
  10. 50-46 Tulane, The boys haven't stopped fighting yet, but I don't know what is going on under the rim for us
  11. Anyone have two tickets and not able to make the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Isaiah Manderson is also from there and according to VC LJ Figueroa is someone on our recruiting list
  13. Speaking of what he can do if he stays, Oldsmar Christian seems to put out some really good kids and there are a few coming up that will be worth recruiting hard. He seems to be pursuing kids from there, building his relationships and if we keep him long enough I think it can really benefit for us. That's a relationship we will probably lose if we lose COA
  14. From when I began watching, we were much more disciplined that we have been. Less sloppy passing. More off the ball movement. All in all it just wasn't horrible.
  15. Morillo missed a three. With 1 min left and down eight, and another miss by Nuñez, that's game :/ but it was a good game by us honestly from what I saw.
  16. ****, some good shots but it didn't fall. We need points
  17. The Knights AJ Davis can ball. JMM is shooting well tonight again, Cousins is hot off the boards and Perry is hitting some awkward shots. If that last trey by Morillo would have fell we might have become a real problem!
  18. UCF 34 looks like he should be playing linebacker
