  1. From what I've seen from Bo he has the athleticism for the scheme but not the jumper for it. if we shot a better percentage on a regular basis, he could help collapse the defense for our 3 ball but he is too wild in the lane. Lacks body control. The passing can be very lacks, I hope that it goes as COA hopes and we start fresh in conference. I know....there is no indication it will get better...
  2. Statistically Nuñez had a nice day! Nearly a double-double. Guerrero posted a double double but Jaleel disappeared today? McMurray and Morillo missed a lot of shots, it's hard to get too mad because they are the only "shooters" we have right now so they have to take shots. Anyone that watch the game know how the looks were? Contested, last minute, space, soft D? Props to Chris Perry on going 100% on the line though. If the kids read these threads (I have not a clue) I want to be on record giving props to Nuñez for the game he had and I hope he can turn the corner and really be a force. He has the physical tools to make it happen for sure.
  3. Every time I turn the ESPN stat stream on I see fouls by us. They have gotten to the charity strip too much. I wonder if that is aggressive play by them or sloppy by us?
  4. I'll settle for the threes. It can put us down quickly but low percentage shots are preferred. How are we closing out? Slow still?
  5. Wasn't able to post a thread, helping move people and can't watch either. Stat checking only for me.
  6. Small mistakes on the court are building up in a typical game for sure, those lazy passes mainly. If we can tighten up our passing we could drop our turnovers per game down at least 4. Then yesterday, when Cousins is doubled there has to be help! Someone needs to rotate over for the bailout because he was getting mobbed and turned the ball over twice trying to get it to Rueben under the rim. I was at the game but it was dead. I tried some USF and lets go defense stuff but not even the friend that I brought helped. They need to raffle away some tickets every game just to help fill the stands and get the atmosphere back, otherwise these aren't "home" games.
  7. Yes, I suppose how that was meant to be relayed was that I wish McMurray was running more offense as opposed to Antigua running point from the sidelines. It's his team so by all means lead the kids, it would just have left me feeling all warm inside if McMurray was running it. I suppose in front of my computer screen it's much harder to realize how much communication goes on.
  8. Being there, it was interesting watching COA coaching and running his team. What I didn't like however, was that he was running the offense. I know McMurray is not savvy at the Point but ouch. They were trapping Cousins on the baseline and no help was rotating, poor kid was getting mobbed and then balled out because he turned it over. Great shooting from McMurray I will say that the more playing time Santos gets I think the better off we will be. Morillo passes the ball far too lackadaisically and needs to tighten that up, but he communicates with the bench well. As a whole we could use some call outs for screens and such.
  9. Well we took this one, I would like to see Santos on the court more. He plays well off the ball, rebounds well, and can play under the rim. That being said, I felt like it was taboo to make noise at the game.
  10. Actually at the game this time. Nice deuce by Mcmurray
  11. The AI quote was a must, and I feel super bad about this injury. Our group can't catch a break. Best case scenario, Morillo can find his shot. Most likely scenario, we play with lineups and try to find a recipe. I know Antigua wanted to put together that fast tempo team that will allow kids to make plays and draw in interest because of that style. It pains me to say that right now it seems putting Perry and Cousins and Guerrero in the post and trying to let them work might be our best bet for wins. My question to the coaching staff would be: Are wins now the priority or is the priority to create the system kids are drawn to and trying to reinforce that type of culture?
  12. Seriously? Am I the only one that looks at that statement and sees something wrong? I mean, I'm all for differing opinions but come on. That's like saying, Holston isn't having the breakout year he was supposed to, tisk tisk. Oh that ACL thing? Just an excuse.
  13. Left foot fracture is going to have Peters out indefinitely after dealin with back issues the entire 10 games beginning of the season. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/usfs-peters-out-with-foot-fracture/2257705
  14. That sounds like a deal to me, I'm reaching out to my buddies now but I'll definitely be interested in at least one
  15. I am trying to go to the Jacksonville game and bring 2-3 friends. If anyone has tickets they won't be using I would greatly appreciate it.
  16. When Heath left two years ago we kept AC, Corey Allen Jr, Perry, Dre and Z. Perry was injured most of the season and we lost CA for the last I think 3 games? You can't blame COA for losing Egbunu and OMG even though I would have loved to see this team with them. And who knows the specifics behinds AC. I can see the questions of coaching and teaching. They are quite valid, I'm watching the games too. But consistency is important. It seems turnover is more accepted in college sports but it seems foreign to me. The kids are cold on the floor and we haven't done much but throw salt.
  17. 65-46 NC State. Body language from the kids looks bad, Cousins gets in his head and disappeared, McMurray toward the end was trying to shout direction. We will benefit from Feliz running point next year.
  18. Santos has ran free to the post 3-4 times and isn't being looked at for the pass by McMurray and that is KILLING me. Take advantage of the roll guys. Morillo taking shots that I don't like too much but he is dropping them so I'll take it.
  19. Anyone present know what happened with Morillo? Whatever happened, as a viewer I don't appreciate the way the ref launched into Morillos face. And where is the foul for cousins on the ground?
  20. Santos is off the court already :/ I don't know that AC was run off. But I am also not privy to the conversations they had. Just heard we were breaking records though....low records but that counts right?
  21. Holston and McMurray will be great to have on the court at the same time. Though Holston back from that ACL gives me pause. I'd like to see Santos on the court for as much of the rest of the game as possible. Let's get a good look at what he can contribute.
  22. I can't see him on my computer screen and I missed the first half. That is not what we need and I feel terrible for him. I hope it's more precaution but a full cast doesn't bode well.
  23. We have three guards active now, McMurray, Morillo, and Bodway. I don't like that over the back call, looked clean.
  24. Cousins is getting beat on that spin every time. Peters out for the rest of the game.
