  1. I feel like the Miami loss to GA Tech may have been worse. Thirty seconds left. All you had to do was take a knee... With regards to CAG... He's going to do fine. Keep in mind he was recruiting off a 1-11 record.
  2. I just completed this quiz. My Score 46/100 My Time 203 seconds
  3. I'm a big Leavitt fan. No other coach gets this much interest/enthusiasm on this board. But what I find interesting is that most people that don't think this will happen, think it's because the University leadership won't do it. I actually wonder if it's the other way around. Maybe CJL wouldn't be willing to come back here after the way things played out? I hope things change - BRING BACK LEAVITT!!
  4. This was well said - I hope MK reads it! I don't think most (if not all) of the fans put their love for CJL above their love for USF. They just didn't want to support a bad decision. Bringing Leavitt back (if possible) could be one of the best things for our program.
  5. This. I think the media plays a huge role in getting fans excited about going to games. Locally, we have beat writers that focus more on the negative than the positive. Nationally, it seemed like the ESPN announcers were putting USF down the entire game (with some exceptions). I think there is extreme bias against USF. I don't think the opponent is the problem. Penn State drew over 100k fans to watch them play Akron. Miami drew over 50k to watch a game against Bethune-Cookman, etc, etc... Obviously, we'd all rather see better opponents.
  6. 1) The winning team: USF 2) The final score: 40-27 3) Bulls leading rusher: Tice 4) Bulls leading receiver: MVS 5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over): 447
  7. Sure, Joey didn't do anything wrong - he just didn't do the right thing. IMO, he could have just used a little professional courtesy. I think that would have gone a long way in him establishing a better rapport with the organization he's reporting on. That being said, I think your second paragraph above is right on.
  8. The fact that Wisconsin is ranked 19th is absurd and good example of what is wrong with the way teams are ranked. They've beaten Bowling Green and Western Illinois - that's it. They are on the weak side of a weak Big 10 conference that's going to come down to Nebraska vs. Mich. State. USF has harder teams on their schedule...
  9. Whaaaaaaa?? Hahaha. I want to hear his take on Mike White. Nothing wrong with a little homerism. Indeed. Do not confuse acute homerism with objective analysis. Remember, as a fan, you're exempt from the constraints of reality and are afforded the luxury of green-n-gold goggles as a permanent fashion accessory. How is saying we should have won the MD game is homerism? Take away two of the botched special teams plays and we would have won. Maryland is a better team than Wisconsin mumbo jumbo. That's not even homerism. It's just silly. Why do you think that? Maryland's only loss is to one of the best teams in the Big 12 by 3 points. We'll find out who's better in a month or so when they play.

  11. Whaaaaaaa?? Hahaha. I want to hear his take on Mike White. I think Mike White has some things to work on, but he would be significantly better if we had an offensive line that could give him some time.
  12. Let's put this into a proper perspective... We're talking about a Wisconsin team that has only beaten Bowling Green and Western Illinois. They lost to an LSU team that has only beaten Sam Houston and UL Monroe. I think it's silly to say that USF doesn't have a chance. Maryland is a better team than Wisconsin and we should have won that game...
  13. He did say he came here to "get thoughts from the fans and to interact more with our readers". I think honest feedback in this case is appropriate.
