Not surprised. He has one year left after graduating and we are in a rebuilding mode.
Best of luck to him.

Reality none of those leaving did much in 2020. Maybe going elsewhere will be better for them and releases positions to bring in new players.

I thought we already knew he was leaving, like a week or so ago.

Hopefully he finds a school that has a stable QB, Oline and offensive coordinator. People here were kind of hard on him, but he didnt really have a stable situation here.

I was always a fan of St Felix. It's tough to see it not work out for either side, but it felt like it almost did. I wouldn't be surprised to see him catch on in a major role at a similar level

Best of luck to him on his future endeavors. He had a lot of potential. Hopefully he’ll land on his feet.

Seems like a of these guys are fading away fast

Asked this the other day but got no takers. Due to this being a crazed football season the NCAA had said early on that they year wouldnt count against a players eligibility thus giving them a free year. Example, so wouldnt St. Felix a grad be able to stay for another year(21-2022) and still have his grad year(2022-23) afterward? I've never heard anything else about this since it was announced last Fall. What say you???

If the coach wanted him or he wanted to stay sure. But here is the kicker to all of this. Next year teams have to be at to the traditional 85 scholarship players on a team. Thus some of these players will not find a home with a scholarship...at least on the FBS level due to freshman coming in.
