Team mentally gave up as soon as he was announced as the starter...

It's bad for the team and it's bad for McCloud. He doesn't have what it takes for this level, and he might get ruined for a lower level by staying in and getting destroyed.

This is 100% on CJS. I have hopes he can turn our team around, but I’m starting to doubt it.

As a season ticket holder from day 1 I have never seen it this bad. I understand COVID 19 and 13 players not in Houston. I hope that this your is just "2020".

It has to get better next year. And why not? Go USF

I have to admit. It does make me not like him.  I'm willing to forget this year though.

I feel for the kid because he takes a beating, but the more I see him play the more I realize he is not a d1 QB.  Does anyone know why Jordan Smith has not gotten a chance at this point?

I was actually in his corner at the beginning of year.  I thought he could develop into a good player.

Yesterday, when I saw him missing a wide open receiver 5 yards down the field, by throwing the ball way over his head on 3rd down, I came to the realization that it will never happen for McCloud here.  Noah Johnson isn't great, but at least he looks competent out there.

His pocket presence is terrible. Doesn't know how/when to throw it away.  No arm and can't hit open receivers. However, our O-Line doesnt help. I also feel bad for him. He's doing his best with what he's got...

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
