Yeah, what did they have on the ground, 300, 400 500 yards or something like that? Steam-rolled is more appropriate.

We kept a top 20 team to within 15 offensive yards of their season average and 8 points below their scoring average. That's getting steamrolled?

We gave up 3 100 yard rushers, but hey, we kept their passing attack to under 20 yards. We had 62 yards on the ground. They shut down our strength, but we couldn't stop theirs, even when we knew it was coming.

I'm aware of the fact that we lost and that they were better able to shut down our strengths than we were theirs (which is how every game is won or lost). But I wouldn't classify a statistically average day for Navy and a 29-17 loss as a steam-rolling.

If we had beaten them 34-29 and put up 440 yards of offense, would you be saying we destroyed them?

Thank you, thank you very much. I debated adding more exclamation points, but I think I did fine hitting the Bull Daly quota.
