I don't think there is a chance. USF continues to make the kinds of academic strides, research funding strides, and things outside of sports and Judy could cancel football. I know this is a sports message board and we all live and die based on how 18 - 22 year old kids perform at one or two key sports, but that isn't how anyone who matters measures USF (or any other institution for that matter). It can when athletics has room to bring in a substantial amount more of money. Clearly he wasn't too enamored with SMU, and I don't think he's different enough from Mike White for us to want him (I think Flowers would bring a new threat/dimension). gobulls83 your logic on why he isn't an NFL QB makes no sense. The jump Bortles made from the 2012 season to this past one was a huge one, he worked his tail off in the film room and took command of a pro set offense this season, made pre snap reads(something Manziel has never done in his life) , and was CLUTCH. His ability to have an even keel and be relaxed is going to impress NFL GMs. He's kind of a gunslinger who makes a mistake but is not scared to let it rip later in the game. Physically he has all the measurables, the 2 negatives some may point out are footwork at times and mechanics which both can be fixed while he's training with a QB Coach.

If he is leaving I expect the news to come out before the Bowl Game. A chance of the first 2 QBs drafted coming from the AAC, I don't think many people expected that in the pre season.

the Aaron Murray injury helped Blake's stock. I doubt he has even addressed this yet with Coach Oleary and his family. The fact that he grew up going to UCF games with his family might factor into his decision compared to an out of state guy that's in a rush to get to the League.

You can't compare your attendance at RJS to an OCS b/c of the pricing structure. USF won't be able to sell 300 level $5-15 tickets anymore like you do at RJS with an On Campus Stadium. There will be occasional deals but you can only do so much b/c the most important thing is to keep the Boosters happy with their investment, they won't want to donate if someone can buy similar seats the week of the game for way less. Supply goes down and the price of tickets go up, section 227 at UCF's stadium had tickets on Ticketmaster going for around $60 face value early last week for the USF game on Friday night.

UCF turned the ball over 5 times and still WON, that shows how good and resilient this UCF team is. This reminds me of your game at Notre Dame a few season ago where they turned it over 4-5 times with a few in the red zone just like UCF last night and you beat them. UCF is the second youngest team in the FBS (behind South Carolina) and is 10-1 with a chance at a BCS Bowl. I'll take it, unless your in the top 3 style points are worthless, it is about winning your Conference

Good to hear. There were pockets of USF fans tailgating on Memory Mall and I saw no issues other than booing, most were tailgating with UCF family or friends ...a few divided Tailgates. It was a fun day
