  1. Just a preview today. Per Chris Torello, he will be "committing" on friday

  4. Now lets see if he can get his 4* teammate who's committed to UF to come join him. Would be sweet to see our new QB commits continue to recruit for us.

  6. Two week after initially learning that USF Football running back JaJuan Cherry was in the NCAA Transfer Portal, The Daily Stampede has learned from a source with direct knowledge of the situation, that “as of right now” Cherry is back with the team and participating in off-season workouts. The same day redshirt quarterback Octavious Battle announced that he would be transferring from the school, we noticed a new name in the 247sports Transfer Portal in JaJuan Cherry. The former 2018 three-star from Okeechobee switched positions from safety to running back before spring practice and showed some promise at his new position. He injured his shoulder at the open practice in Clearwater, just a week before the spring game, which he missed as well. The Daily Stampede was told that Cherry will stay at running back. It is unknown if Cherry remains in the transfer portal at this time. https://www.thedailystampede.com/2019/6/14/18678731/after-flirtation-transfer-portal-usf-football-running-back-jajuan-cherry-back-with-team-247sports
  7. Correct if I am wrong, but wasn't there a fundraiser not too long ago that was trying to raise funds to help get our women's crew team to D1? I've search the interwebz but haven't been able to find it. EDIT: So it's not the link to the fundraiser, but back in '16 we did announce that our women's crew team was going to be D1 https://www.dailycommercial.com/news/20161106/ncaa-womens-rowing-team-coming-to-usf-sarasota-manatee
  8. Update by school official: It is believed that Polk has been medically disqualified due to the series of injuries he sustained at USF. A school official stated the reason for him no longer being on the roster as “medical”.
  9. USF is down another linebacker heading into fall camp because redshirt junior Andre Polk, Jr. is no longer listed on the online roster. The Daily Stampede reached out to USF and Polk for comment, but have not heard back from either. We will update the story if they do. The oft-injured Polk missed all of spring because he was recovering from an injury. That seemed to be the story of Polk’s tenure with the Bulls. He played in just three games during his three seasons in Tampa. The Fort Myers native was rated as a three-star (.8520) by 247Sports coming out of high school, and chose the Bulls over offers from Iowa State, Minnesota, Louisville, Tulane, and few others. Polk redshirted his freshman season in 2016, played in three games in 2017—totaling five tackles, all of which came at San Jose State—and then did not play in 2018 due to a knee injury. Polk was one of the last remaining holdovers from former head coach Willie Taggart’s final recruiting class. 12-of-16 signees are no longer with the team. We wish Andre the best. https://www.thedailystampede.com/2019/6/4/18651828/redshirt-jr-linebacker-andre-polk-no-longer-with-usf-football-willie-taggart-fsu-charlie-strong
