  1. Fun if you have no hopes for a conference championship trophy.
  2. Chapter List - for the the 10 Year video. The beginning of a long journey Number 63 comes aboard The Bulls are born The first game 63 yards 9 wins is not enough Winning on and of the field New conference, new building The bowl game and beyond The BIG plays Bonus Features The view from the press box The first bowl experience The road to Charlotte
  3. I have that one..."USF Football 10 Years", and the much rarer "USF vs Kansas - USF WNIT Champions - April 2009" I also have "Green & Gold a Half Century of USF - A Retrospective on 50 Years of the University of South Florida" by WUSF
  4. You sure it was vs Rutgers? I still have mine too (people were told to return them after the game ) ...I could have sworn it was against an OOC opponent. They may have passed them out at more than one game, but I'm 99% certain that I acquired mine at the Rutgers game (my wife turned hers in) because I remember commenting that they were prohibited by BE rules.
  5. If I'm not mistaken the Big East prohibited the use of artifical noisemakers.
  6. USF gave out small white cowbells with a few years ago at a soccer game against Rutgers. I still have one.
  7. Correction...We need something worth making noise over!
  8. If I'm not mistaken you're a student, which in all likelihood means I have been attending games for almost as long as you've been on the planet. Raymond James Stadium - Prohibited items include: All food, drinks, cans, bottles and glass Backpacks, duffel bags or large bags Drugs and narcotics (prescription medication exception) Banners or flags with sticks or poles; items that could obstruct view Video cameras and cameras longer than 12 inches (includes body, lens and filter) Coolers and hard containers Artificial noisemakers (air horns, bullhorns, whistles, vuvuzuelas, etc.) Items that could be missiles or projectiles Lasers Pets (except assistive animals) Recreational balls and equipment of any type (including footballs) Seat cushions Skates, skateboards, skate-shoes, all cycles and Segways Strollers Umbrellas or anything that would obstruct view Any item that can’t fit under a guest’s seat Unlawful weapons/fireworks (except those required by Florida Law or the Licensee’s admission policy)*

  10. The faculty/staff sections are two of the fullest sections in the stadium. Extra credit for going to a sports event is total BS!
  11. As I said above, I'm not a fan of conference championship games. The conference already has a TV contract, so how much will a CC game pay?
  12. Your computer skills seem a bit slow. Maybe you should get one of "today's kids" to help you.
  13. Today's kids! It's called working smarter! My association with USF began more than 30 years ago. How about you?
  14. It's all here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conference_USA Memory not Wikipedia. No reason to type when someone has already done it.

  16. IMO, ALL conference members should be FULL members, Navy should be all-in or find another member to bring the conference to 12, or stay at 11 schools and play every team in football every season. I have never been a fan of conference schedules where every team doesn't play every other team in conference (the only fair way to determine the conference champions. It also helps build rivalries. With eleven teams, everyone has 5 home, and 5 away conference games every season. Only needing to schedule 2 OOC games should make it easier to schedule better opponents, and do away with 1AA/FCS cupcakes.
  17. I would bet the farm that our women's players would make you look silly on the court. (I have no idea who you are, so I'm really hoping this isn't DoJo or Chucky Atkins posting) Jessica Dickson scored more points than any USF men's hoopster ever did!
  18. I could be mistaken, but I believe Jose is one of the lowest paid WBB coaches in the Big East. Ok, My google skills are lacking, since the best I could do was 2008 .... but in 2008, the average WBB head coach in the Big East was well over $400,000 a year. So it must be close to $500,000 a year by now. At that time, Jose was the lowest paid head coach of any BCS school. Here is the stat page that Brett did 5 years ago. http://media.tbo.com/photos/sports/2008/feb/0222ncaacoaches.p As I remember it, Jose's 2010/11 3 year contract (after winning the 2009 NIT) set base pay at $150K plus $55K for personal appearances/and radio show which would increase to $65K in 2011/2012, and to $75K in 2012/2013. Also he will get a $50K bonus for finishing out his contract.

  20. No one cares about Women's Basketball!!! On a Thursday night in November of 2007, ESPNU held a WBB Invitational St Pete Times Forum. USF vs Duke followed by Oklahoma vs Tennessee.. The actual attendance that night was greater than that at most USF Men's basketball games.
  21. UConn has had a competitive men's basketball team for years. Do you actually believe that no one talks about UConn Women's Basketball??????
  22. Cut him some slack, the supply of oxygen to his brain was cut off while blowing up war flamingos.
  23. I guess seeing who has the best fundamentals, and who can make the most mid range jump shots in 40 minutes is fascinating to you. Woman athletics recieve 35 percent of NCAA funding on average, and in some cases equal funding in select athletic programs. To me this is a joke and wouldn't hold up in a free market. Unlike Stan Heath basketball, USF women's basketball is very entertaining. I'm not sure if your trolling or not Is that the best you can do? I'm a USF season ticket holder for both men's, and women's basketball. I enjoy USF women's basketball far more than I do Heath ball.
