  1. So, I guess neither Florida vs Georgia, or Texas vs Oklahoma are rivalries! http://en.wikipedia....ootball_Classic http://en.wikipedia....d_River_Rivalry Never said that so don't try putting words in my mouth. USF vs ucf is not a rivalry.
  2. And besides, we've whomped them 4 times in a row. That's a beating. Not a rivalry.
  3. A rivalry this is not. More like an annoyance. ucf is garbage and considering them a rival is an insult to our university. For shame on you.
  4. Benches and planters have been added to the front of the MLK memorial. All I have to say is finally. They've been attempting to refurbish this area by filling it with plants, as well as a general cleaning. It looks very nice.
  5. What the **** are the italics for?? 67k + posts and he is still learning how to use a message board. i am not computer literate sue me Don't worry about it. Some people on here are just asses.
  6. Is the Muma Center open for the general public to walk into? As a student, I always jogged by it but never went in because I did not think I could.
  7. Drove by the library yesterday. No visible progress has been made.
  8. Make note now, ANY USF STUDENT GETTING COMPANION TICKETS FOR UCF STUDENTS TO SIT IN THE STUDENT SECTION WILL BE PUNISHED. Yet watch them do it anyway. "But they're a good friend of mine" they'll whine. IT DOESN'T MATTER. THEY'RE SCUM OF THE EARTH ucf!!!
  9. Gross. I hate this rivalry already. 35 million just to fill it with trash? Bad move, USF.
  10. I'm curious if USF has any kind of legal recourse in this situation to prevent UF from essentially stealing the school. They could, but seeing as how UF is favored so much by the state could it be overruled or something of that nature?
  11. EA here in Orlando is full of UCF people. Believe what you want but that's a large reason as to why USF gets crapped on in the game. Recall that video for NCAA '12 where USF was getting the crapped kicked out of it by mousetown u.
  12. No, I mean FSU. I've seen billboards around Lakeland for FSU recently. You figure that if UF stripped Poly from USF to make it their own, as the conspiracy theory goes, FSU is upping their game in Lakeland to make sure UF doesn't own it completely. Doesn't matter much though. There isn't anything good in Poke County. Let the Gators have Hicktown. I call that Hicktown and I'm from PC. I disagree with that. I live in Lakeland and I'll fight to death before I let it become gator county. But USF Poly will become UF Poly. There's no doubting that. And I've only seen one billboard for FSU around on here. On I4 just before the exit to the Polk Parkway. I assumed it was because of the upcoming game.
  13. Great run to the world series. Heartbreaking that it ended this way, but a good run none the less. Hopefully the team will continue to advance more and more each year.
  14. Disappointing, but not surprising. Of course, thinking that means we're criticizing these kids and living vicariously through them.
  15. Forgive me for my brashness and perhaps I'm a bit too emotional right now, BUT I'm tired of the "at least we got to this point" talk. It SHOULD be "WE WON!" I'm tired of "maybe next year" too. Softball was a nice change of pace. perhaps you should join the baseball team if you want to change the results. I love when people criticize college kids for putting forth their best efforts. maybe you shouldn't live vicarously through them and accomplish something on your own? Maybe I don't live vicariously through college kids. It's possible I have a life of my own and am just a fan and alumni who wants to see better end results. Could be possible. And I'm not criticizing the kids. Never specifically called anyone out. Never said Barbossa sucked or anything. Simply said the end result was frustrating and disappointing. And I know those kids would say the same thing. And I would join the team, but I just graduated (which, btw, is something I accomplished on my own), so unless I go back for graduate studies I'm stuck on the side. I'm willing to bet there were none more disappointed than the guys playing for USF. coming on a message board and whining like a little ***** when they are the ones who put in all the hard work and traning is bush league. grow up. I bet you couldn't play for them even if you tried otherwise you would have led us to a college world series last year, right? Wow. Chill out, man. First of all, yea, I know they were disappointed. That's why I said it. Second, I had my gripes but I never whined like a little whatever childish expletive you were thinking. Third, I never came on here and said that I was a better player than any of them or that I could have made a difference. Stop attempting to put words in my mouth. That's beer league. Now, chill out, take a pill or something, and stop getting all huffy. If we can't express our disappointment here then where can we? Reread anything you want, but once again I never put any players down. I did say the team choked, but that's because they did. They had the lead and could have won it, but they dropped it from their hands. If you disagree with me on it, well go ahead. I don't really care. I never said this team sucked or any specific player sucked. They did a good job, but they could be so much better. USF is a team that should be winning these things, not losing them. Now if you have a problem with any of this, I dunno what to tell you other than deal with it.
  16. No worries there. I've already joined the Alumni association and am already working with them on developing new traditions. But I'll hand over my check for 2 million as soon as everyone else here does. The baseball team did a good job this year, but they could do much better.

  19. C-H-O-K-E F-L-O-R-I-D-A! GO BULLS! At least softball knows how to win.
  20. Ugh. There are students on campus who are actually excited about us playing mousetown u. It's flabbergasting, to say the least.
