Bingo, FSU and um play every year, but are in diff divisions so we'd have 9 conference games? Or only 2 other out of division with UCF always being #3?

College Athletics is all about having better facilities than the next guy. if UCF and FSU have one, we gotta have one.... logical or not, it is what it is.

$14 Million is a lot of money to enclose a football field... even with a few offices and storage tacked on, plus design fees, and all the other stuff, that is a high number. . There was a thread on this within the past month. It is not a cheap bubble type facility. I think Auburn just spent $16 million for something like we want. FSU should have something similar built within a year. I'm not sure how much they are paying for it, but it's probably close to that. $14 Million...... that is roughly $360 per square foot (not including any storage, offices or other space.... field space only, plus a little extra around the boundaries).... that is about what it comes out to. I'd say high end for what is shown would be $200 per square. ..... just saying that maybe we wouldn't be getting what we were paying for.

Bright House Networks Stadium is new, having just opened in 2007, and is perhaps the best stadium outside of a BCS Conference. Central Florida will be joining the Big East within a few years, and they have the facilities to do just that. They will in all likelihood have the best stadium in the conference when they do. The stadium seats 45,301, and it has just about everything. The fanbase here is growing, and they know how to make some noise. Wait for the song Zombie Nation to be played, and be prepared to "bounce." This guy was smoking something good and has never been to any of those fields.

What's the rent on those anyway? I think he's talking about the empty lots on the corner of fowler/Bruce b downs that are designated for research park construction. I was thinking of the Research Facilities across from the Engineering Building. They had maybe one or two tenants when I was at USF.
