SMU down 14-56 with 8 min to go kicks a field goal. They must've stole our playbook while they were in town last week.

I'm sure tommorrow night will remind me how right you are it's gonna be cold out there

this might be the wrong forum but wow SMU looks so horrible down 7-49 and that score looks better than the game.
they look worse than USF right now

firing scott in season was dumb
Normally I'd agree, but Scott's presser after the Temple game sounded like a concession...I suspect he sent some signals to VPMK that were showing capitulation to force the process...he sounded done with the "soul searching" comment and time boxed it with 24 hrs. That was a "please fire me" comment in my opinion.

If USF Football was a stock this would be the time to buy on margin, only one way but up cause we can't go lower:
College football Bottom 10 - Clemson joins, and a new No. 1
Clemson went from CFP hopeful to the middle of the Bottom 10, while South Florida managed to play its way to the top.- 1

Has there ever been a former NFL coach that has succeeded at the college level afterwards?

Jon Gruden Reportedly Wants 1 College Football Job
Jon Gruden has been out of coaching for a little more than a year, following his email scandal broken by the Wall Street Journal. But could the former NFL coach and...Not a chance in hell but it would be hilarious if Gruden coached in the stadium where they removed his name

I don't have any way to prove it but I bet Scott was as done as VPMK.
No doubt. CJS comment about soul searching publicly signaled he was done and he time framed it in the next 24 hours. He was asking to be fired.

Why is Kelly still our VP of Athletics?
Best thing he's done yet is not wait til season's end to make the change. Any body that was at Skip's last game in 2012 knows he did the right thing. Those last two home games w Skip got ugly I'm relieved I don't have to see history repeat because this was going to be uglier.

It matters. If they fall flat on the field and if we don't show up in the stands it's a tough sell to bring in a new coach. I thought we had a good homecoming game crowd. They need to come back and show our next coach we are not done yet.

If I run out of gas I will gladly walk past Wawa. I'll never spend a cent there.

As soon as he turns to throw, the defense follows. I wish I hadn't watched this now
If he pump faked there and followed the lead block to the right he had an open hole that looked good for 10 yards...that was hard to watch

I'm in Sydney Australia until Oct 15th so I'll probably pony up the 9.99 for ESPN+ today and then cancel it when I get home. Nothing is open in the late night here the hotel bar shuts down at 930pm...they have just the main ESPN channel here

It's more about building the tradition on the campus vs. the atmosphere that exists now.
I agree. The downside is the tradition will take a long time to develop

You'd like the Glazer's to keep getting money that should be going to us?
Unless the new stadium creates net cash inflow all things considered...then yes but I can understand the argument i'm not happy paying for my wife's 20 Dollar stadium beers anymore than the next guy

What you say? Not every team with an OCS wins a national title or fills it up every week? I'm shocked! I know I'm in the minority but if this comes in over $300 million I believe it is just reckless spending. $200 million? Maybe.
I'm in favor of OCS....if someone else other than me pays for it...if it's my money I'm staying at RayJay

I hate that I'll miss this one. I've got a 5 hour flight at 130p TPA to LAX...I'll be in the air for the entire game...only the 2nd "home" game I've missed in 15 years...I'll be praying on the plane for victory

Sources - Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets fire AD Todd Stansbury, football coach Geoff Collins
Georgia Tech has fired athletic director Todd Stansbury and head football coach Geoff Collins, sources confirmed to ESPN. -

Was wondering if he makes it through the year. For those of you at home that’s 1 W to 21 losses. Thanks coach for delivering the goods.
If CJS can't get 2-3 conf wins against the weaker teams this year then it's time. We can't go 2-10 again and keep him.
Is there any defenses players you would want back on this team?
