I will never give up on my Bulls!! But with that said, this is a HUGE game for Bulls football. Win this one and season outlook changes, the next two @Navy and @UAB are also winnable, meaning the Bulls could have a non losing record come HomeComing.

We need 2 out of the next three to keep reasonable bowl game hope alive. Hard to fathom a non losing record in October, it's been so long

  2. I was concerned with the  Coach Go hire being another Offensive Coordinator with no Head coach experience that he wouldn't be defensive minded enough. So far I've been pleasantly surprised. Losing sucks but seeing a defense that's not painful to watch gives me something I haven't had for 4 years...hope in late September that November games won't be meaningless.

  3. that 4th and 16 I think would've been a 50+ yard field goal which to me would be better risk/reward but coach knows what our kicker can do and how well we can protect a block in that situation so I'm fine with the aggressive call. My concern was entirely the lack of creativity on 1st 2nd and 3rd downs...looked like '89 techno bowl four plays playbook

  4. He didn't like the int celebrations where the defense ran over to the student section to celebrate. I think that's a SEC vs AAC culture thing. I think the AAC refs are used to it but in the SEC that's probably a delay of game penalty. I can understand why he didn't like it. It is a waste of energy for a defense with little depth that spends majority of the game on the field.

I rewatched the first half of the game and there was a scuffle on the home sideline where coach bear hugged our player and pulled him out of a heated scuffle with a FAMU player...I'm sure that's the incident that he was really pissed about

  5. This thread has a brilliant implication. USF Football can only be successful by doing the complete unexpected. Every single victory has never been more important than it is today. Anything less than bowl eligibility is complete failure if we wan't an OCS. This is a win or die thread and i fully approve the message. Sometime last year, CJS said (paraphase) "I'm disapointed we lost, but let's not act like we were favored to win". USF needs wins, not excuses. CJS is gone, but it should never be forgotten that he made such a pathetic statement. Bravo @Bull Matrix

  6. Sep 23 - Nov 4 is the critical 6 game stretch that will likely define the season because in absolute terms it's a weak schedule. Coach Go has to look notably better in that stretch than CJS did the last three years. Otherwise we'll have two empty stadium games in November and we can't have that if we're talking about a 340 million dollar stadium. I don't see how VPMK can keep his job under 5 wins this year.

This was my take as well. Get on now, or you might not have a seat based on size of stadium and current season ticket holder and donor base.

Makes me wonder out of 35K capacity, how many seats reserved for students? 6k would be my guess. That leaves 29k seats to sell. If I had to guess 15-20k season ticket sales in year 1. that leaves 9k for the mini pack and single game deadheads which I presume in year one there would be increased single game interest for those wanting to visit the new stadium. The challenge will be supply not demand, as usual.
