5. Unless that D is waay better than last year they won't be called Bullsharks. they gotta earn that. DBs jumping routes, DLs getting in the backfield and chasing QBs, I wanna see agressive schemes on D. They were dead last in '22. If they blitz all out and get burned for a TD so be it. Nickel defense or soft zone or whatever that was last year didn't stop anybody. try to disrupt the QB every down or get picked apart. last year they choose get picked apart

another copy paste article. zero analysis and respect for USF football which is probably warranted but I'm tried of reading and hearing that teams like WKU and UTSA have superior teams compared to us. Even North Texas gets better reviews than we do. CJS is long gone. It's a new f******* year. F*** these reviews that say we're gonna s*** again. Just give UTSA the **** trophy already if they're so great and if I read one more paragraph about Tulane's magical 2022 season i'm gonna puke.

TBT has no time to cover USF until there's a chance to kick sand in our face. Then Joey and Matt suddenly have plenty of time.

I agree 100% with this. I don't care about conferences or regional rivalries. The rivalry is always the next team on your schedule and the objective is to beat them by at least a point. Bama or FAMU, I don't give a ****. I don't give a **** what UF, FSU, Miami, UCF, FAU, FIU are doing and don't want or need to be associated in a group with any of them. I bleed green and gold, I give a **** about USF and care nothing of any of those other places until they are the opponent then i care for 1 day.

The trophy will say "Gulf Coast" on one side and "Atlantic Coast" on the other, which convieniently tells us two places to dispose of said Trophy which will be at the bottom of Gulf or Atlantic real soon.

Bad coaching and weak strength conditioning got us here. Good coaching and conditioning is the only way out. None of these teams are bringing in top tier athetes and if they do they won't stay long. UTSA and the like clearly have had a better process than us, time to fix that. Time to become a pipeline of good coaches instead of a carousel of bad coaches. whatever the process has been here for five years, time for Coach G to change it, all of it. Football leadership has failed 100% for more than five years and these power rankings prove how powerless our team has been.

We just need to host one Taylor Shift concert per year and we'll be fine. Also maintain high beer prices, I'll pay 20 a beer if i know the money goes to pay off the bonds.

AAU membership is far more important to me. I have two USF degrees so I'm very biased.

I just hope the bonds have a variable interest rate cause man o man this is a horrible time to borrow money. Jerome Powell needs to help us out and drop those **** rates before these bonds get issued.

At one time USF was 11-2 in football against FL schools. That might as well be a million years ago. FAMU will give us all we can handle.

Didn't they cancel a game on us in 2009? I think they dropped us for a home-home with Rutgers and we opened with two FCS teams or whatever they are called now. I think it was a short notice cancellation. they did us dirty I think.

He will be missed and remembered. very sad news.

the paradigm shift is the new reality of zero player loyalty...business is business now...transfer portal is a gateway to NIL money for every 2 star player that becomes a gem. I can't imagine we could keep a player like George Selvie after a breakout sophomore year or Nate Allen who was a QB recruit who became 2nd round NFL safety...those type of players will be gone after two years now...economics is powerful

If Xavier Weaver graduates and goes elsewhere for grad school I would have no issue with that.

There's an old saying in business, "When good management team take over a bad business, the reputation of the business often prevails". I would be happy if the new coach signs 25 defensive players in the next class. If we don't get at least 4-6 new defensive backs and at least 2 decent interior D linemen in the next class it's a fail.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's offered a better job and chooses to leave. I have no complaints about Trickett other than a few 4th down play calls where we need two yards and the ball is handed off or pitched 5 yards behind the line. I'd be happy if they retained him.
