Considering how bad we played we had a chance at the end. Very similar to UAB game. Youngblood couldn’t hit 3 pointers or free throws and Miguel couldn’t hit 3 pointers.Usually one of them has it going.

I think a at large is still possible, but we have to make it to the final of the aac tournament at least. If we make it that far we might as well win it all. I would have much rather lose against smu or charlotte. Because this is for sure a bad lose.

I’m not saying he is different but he left Kennesaw for USF, So he has done it already either for money or a better opportunity at a higher level of basketball.The next opportunity he gets will be the same again to coach at a higher level and probably more money, so we will see what happens.Not all coaches leave mid major programs when they are successful but 80% do.I don’t blame him if he does leave because if he had 2 losing seasons here he would probably get fired at USF, so he has to look at what’s best for him overall. I hope he stays but that’s just the reality of it. I do think if Karter Knox commits to USF coach will be here next year because we will be better next year talent wise with Knox. Dusty May’s first head coaching job is at FAU and he decided to stay which is very rare they don’t even have a practice facility like us so much respect to that man. That’s like if CAAR stayed at Kennesaw as far as facilities go.

I don’t think Dusty is going anywhere he could have left and took the whole team with him to another school.I think he just likes where he is at. Youngblood and stroud can transfer right away because they would be a grad transfers next year if coach rahim left. I think if Karter Knox commits to USF coach will be here next year.

I think if Mike White got fired that would be a very attractive job for him.Mike white just got there so I think he will at least get one more year.

I think if Karter Knox signs it will be a huge sign that coach will be here next year just my opinion. We will know what Karter Knox is doing in an about 1 week. If he signs, he would be the highest rated recruit to sign with USF ever, he’s a Mc Donalds all American which we never had before.

Penny gets paid 2.5 million a year at Memphis at least match that. If it was up to me I would go ahead and offer him 3 million a year starting next year, if he doesn’t accept that he just probably wants to try to see what he can do at the power 5 level. His buy out I think is 2 million which is nothing to the P5 schools. I’av been watching USF hoops for years, every single game and now that we are winning it feels so much better. I would go all out on him, you have to.With coaches like him we will be in a P5 in no time.

The way Miguel was talking about coach and coach was talking about him I don’t see why he wouldn’t stay. that’s very odd though the team is having such a great year and he told coach he might be transferring already, kind of odd.Wouldn’t you want to start talking about that when this run is over? Unless they already know Karter Knox is coming and if he is coming, karter will be starting thats for sure.

I was watching the post conference interview after the game, Miguel was saying how he thought about his last games at USF and how it felt coming off the floor for the last time. I thought they had the Covid year? Hines is listed as a junior, so I’m confused.

Yes I bet right away, they had us losing just about ever game even at home.

We really need this game to help our net, but if I had to pick a game out of the next 3 to lose it would be this one. The other two games if we lose to Tulane or Tulsa, we’re for sure not getting a at large. If we win the next 3 games, I think we are for sure a at large bid even if we lose in the American tournament.

To be honest he wasn’t proven . I think what he is doing at USF in one year is very impressive.Based on that and not what he did at the previous stop P5 schools will come calling at the end of the season, specially if we win the American tournament and win a couple NCAA games. We will have to come up with some money to keep him.

I think if we win out in the regular season we are in, as long as if we lose in the American athletic tournament it’s a decent team like, SMU, Memphis, Fau, Charlotte, etc..

We need to go ahead and at least match Penny hardaway’s contract to 2.5 million or at least 2 million a year. At the end of the day it’s a business and the way that you show if you care is by paying more.If a decent power 5 school offers him 2 or 3 million a year he would be dumb not to take it and he’s a smart guy,so we need to get ahead of the game.

I agree if he can bring in a solid big that can move, defend and throw it down when he is open.We should be very good next year.That’s the only small problem I’av seen this year, but we’ve been able to survive. Walker has been doing great guarding bigs considering his size.

I agree with you. I really respect Dusty May for staying at FAU because he could of been at a P5 school this year. He said he was happy there, so he stayed.FAU has a lot less going for it facility wise so I believe everything he said.

CBS College basketball analyst were saying he will have to opportunity if he wants to. I don’t think he would leave because we are going to have everyone back minus Placer. If he did leave he would be leaving some players out to dry, because I think the second time you transfer you have to sit out a year and that would mean Youngblood, stroud, Jennings would probably be force to stay at USF their final year.

According to all the experts we have to win the conference tournament or we are out. I think if we win the rest of the regular season games, we have a chance to get a a large bid.

We really need this game it would help our net ranking. SMU has a 40 net ranking right behind FAU. This should be a good either way.

Yes, I agree. I think chanting overrated at all is crap, but specially with like 9 minutes left. That was close and we almost lost.

Please don’t chant overrated with so much time left. FAU is a good team even if we beat them, don’t give them any fuel because they are capable of coming back.

I agree doesn’t really show on the stat sheet but walker has played very well, he’s doing pretty good with the big guy posting him up.
