Me too. Moss tries to push it.  Murphy somewhat too, but I’m not other three/four on court are considering it.

Also, I like our determination to get the ball inside, but Tchewa has got to make easy, little paint shots.

I’d like to see a lineup with Moss and Murphy at 1/2 with Boggs, Greene and One of the other forwards to knock down open 3s and grab rebounds. Boggs has been really frustrating to watch. He constantly passes up good looks at 3-pointers that he was brought here specifically to take. These guys need to start shooting their way out of this and I believe a lineup like this will create good opportunities. I’m tired of watching the “pass around the perimeter for 20 seconds and bail when the high pick and roll is covered” offense. Something needs to change.

It was a very fun evening out with the wife. Great seats and relatively large, energetic crowd. It felt like it was about evenly split between USF and Auburn fans.

We went 4 for 10 from the line. There were two times we missed a layup which led to three pointers for Auburn (10 point swing with just that). Auburn clearly won the dunk contest, but it felt like it was USF's game to lose (which, of course, they did).

I'll say this for Auburn at the end of the game... They were beyond happy that they pulled out a W. They figured out pretty fast that USF was there to win and that they (USF) honestly should have won.

The Bulls are still a little rough around the edges, but I am seeing a team that I really look forward to watching this year. 🤘

Agreed. Not sure what to make of this team yet, but Greene and Murphy have very complimentary offensive games. Very good defensive effort tonight but got caught napping on half a dozen back door cuts. Great atmosphere inside Amalie.

I think people need to be patient.  There are so many new faces and I am sure it is going to take time to gel even if there is a lot of talent.  Be patient.

Sorry. There was a failure to exploit the mismatch with Tchewa down low and there is no excuse for him not to have a FG attempt until the second half. Also, with a team where 90% of your players are perimeter/wing players, you need to either knock down perimeter shots (which they did not), get into the paint and get to the line (which they did not) or get out in transition (which they did not). It's as though there was no offensive game plan at all. Gregory was out-coached in this one and it bordered on incompetence.

Anyone know when and how the season tix for the Auburn game are being distributed?  I don't see anything in my account.

    GO BULLS!

Got this email back in September:

The 2021-22 Men’s home schedule is highlighted by a matchup with the AuburnTigers. That game will be played at Amalie Arena on November 19th.

    • Tickets to that game are included in your season ticket package.
    • Seats will be assigned based on current season ticket location, donor level, and Bulls Club points. Your seats will be assigned closer to the game.”

Not sure the low post guys would know what to do with it if they got it.  About 5 minutes in to the 2nd half they finally made an entry pass and 7 footer made a layup. Running down the court all pumped up screaming "Let's go".  What? It took you 35 minutes to get pumped up?  And every time he or the other center got an offensive rebound they immediately kicked it back out. Take it to the rim big fellow.

Tchewa can score but Matos has looked awful down low. It was frustrating to watch the big guys play so small.

BTW, Thought I saw you in the concourse outside of section 108 walking with what I assume was a granddaughter. I’ll say hello next time.

Yeah, the timeouts seemed to be a bit of a problem this game that need to be looked at it and hopefully will be ....

The timeouts were critical to execution down on the goal line. If he doesn’t call timeout there, not sure if those two touchdowns happen. Definitely need to work on execution and having a set of go to plays in the red zone that you don’t need a timeout to dig it out of the playbook. That reverse to Weaver was an exceptionally good call. Have that play and others ready to go next time.

We won and that should be reason to celebrate. @MikeG’s perspective, some criticisms from @Bradand @Triple B  and Wilson Philips have inspired me. So take a listen to Hold On and give me your reasons to be positive and I may ask a follow up question but I will not try to argue with you or otherwise prove you wrong. Just help some fellow Bulls feeling we are in a dark cloud see the silver lining you see. This thread is simply to help people have a good day, if they want to. And if I argue with a single positive thing on this thread, ban me.

    **** you.
