Offensive line is just getting murdered.
Florida’s D Line will do that to a lot of teams this year.

I mean, they're running safe throws right now, not asking too much of him. Hopefully just to get him comfortable, not due to lack of faith that he can complete a harder throw.
He couldn’t even hit those last week.

Maybe we see McClain?
-
I’m not sure if our WR can go 1 on 1 with the fl corners. Hard to see a TD here.
-
Hmm. Maybe I was wrong about Cade?
-
Ive seen enough Fortin. Kid is timid. Bring in the freshman plz.

Texas and Oklahoma left because the SEC offered more money. UCF, Cincy, and Houston are in the Big 12 because it's more money. Whatever teams the AAC selects for expansion will leave because it's more money. All this stuff is based on their programs making more money. It has nothing to do with teams being "elite" and it never did.
Let's be real honest here: The Big 10 and the SEC are the two best conferences in college football, then the Big 12, ACC and Pac 12 follow behind, then the AAC and rest of the G5 conferences. Big 12 isn't going to lose it's status as a Power 5, because if they did, it's going to be such a slippery slope for inclusion it just wouldn't be worth it.It can’t be about the money AND a slippery slope. Money loves slippery slopes.

As measured by wins have things gotten better or worse?
Which sport?

I don't understand the premise of the OP. Conference realignment is not static. This wasn't the last round. Major shifts will continue to happen. Teams move up and get left behind. The rich get richer. The sun will rise tomorrow.

The only reason this guy will push for an OCS is if either himself, his family or his buddies benefit financially from the deal.
Exactly. And honestly, I'm okay with it if there is an opportunity to revitalize the area around campus and there is a net benefit to the university (not clear yet obviously). If one were to speculate at potential high dollar investors, I think these companies and their board members would be a good place to start:

It was more than ten years to raise half to get a partial build going, very few people are left that trust Usf athletics to be wise stewards of their money and they really have no reason to be because they will either succeed and be gone or fail and be gone.
What if they do “just okay”, say 55% to match our 55% football facility?

Former Speaker of the Florida House, AND a financial advisor so probably a grifter, but maybe that’s just what we need.

You have to think like UCF and claim you win the other 4.
Honestly, it should be 6.

They won 9 NATIONAL TITLES w/o a on campus Stadium and competing with a popular NFL team.
I'm counting 5...

That’s kind of what I thought I read somewhere.
If this is true, we will never see an OCS. No way USF athletics will ever have $150,000,000 cash laying around.

I thought we couldn’t build the IPF because we couldn’t borrow the money and had to be fully funded
Seems foolish, but on brand.

Honestly, not a bad time to borrow a ton of money with current interest rates.
-
Tangible investment. I hope more in athletics realize this.

Why do people keep bringing up the "silence" of admin? Honestly can any sort of statement get everyone to stop moaning or believing? Do yall want admin to come out and say "we suck and UCF is better than us...but we now we have a plan, we promise."
Would that make yall feel better? Would you believe it or would just **** on them saying "all talk" (which is probably what everyone on here would say.
Honestly, serious question, what kind of statement would get everyone's faith 100% back on to the USF bandwagon, IMO that is completely impossible right now. The only thing we can do is pray and hope that that CJS wins most conference games by year three. If he doesn't, then we try again until we win again with someone who can. We have the recruiting location and now the IPF needed to definitely win in the CUSA/Sun Belt that is the AAC now. Strong catered our program this takes time to rebuild and no statement from admin right now will get people believing so let's just focus on trying to win some **** games because coming out with a statement from admin about how much they suck and how much better UCF is will do no good for anyone right now.
The statement IS the IPF. Money talks, ******** walks so here's 10s of millions dedicated to football.

Where is the VP of Athletics? Where is the acting university president? Board of Regents? Anyone with a USF logo on their shirt?
I’d expect we’d hear from them today after the expansion announcement is officially announced.
I'm not sure what I’d want to hear, but today should be celebrated by football fans. It marks the first time USF is actually taking tangible steps to invest in the football program (if that’s something you’re into). There’s a long way to go yet, but it’s part of an actual foundation and not just words.

Good teams have bad games. The Bucs lost by 5 touchdowns the same season they won the super bowl
We had some bad bounces but the defense played hard in the first half, probably lost focus when they realized they had no chance of coming back.
I really don’t think the offensive play calling was too bad. It seemed like NC State realized we couldn’t connect on a deep ball to make them pay so they just went all out aggressive and took away everything underneath.
we just have to hope Cade is actually good and can hit the deep pass, and last week it was just nerves. Because if that was actually his accuracy he can’t be our starter anymore
I’ve seen enough of this Cade Fortin. I’m hoping Timmy gets the call and is heavily encouraged to run more. Someone needs to make something happen and it’s not Cade.

I agree, in addition to that, spend some money on a couple high end BB players and let’s roll. Who knows, maybe the Big East will expand we we can be a part of it again (UCONN had the right idea). Seriously though, let’s turn into a basketball school at this point.

It would have worked if we could have scored occassionally. We got a lot of stops. Eventually the dam broke.
Hoping for better QB play Saturday. Plays were there to be had last week.

Man that #9 looks good running up the field, but man, let’s hang on to that ball.
