  1. Definitely two types of coaches out there, especially after a loss:

The "yeah we lost but it was a good effort by our team" type of coach (Holtz & Heath)

    &

The "this wasn't good enough, we need to work and win" type of coach coach (Taggart)

Now obviously that was the whole point of this thread and everyone has their own opinion but I feel like most USF fans are pretty much done hearing "good effort" coaches with no signs improvement. From the little that I've seen and heard COA talk he definitely seems like he leans toward the Taggart-type which gives me hope that players aren't going to walk all over him when they don't feel like working like they did with Heath.

  2. 18-0 in conference this year.

This guy is a LEGIT coach. When it comes to recruiting honestly I feel like just being able to consistently win here will fill the Dome. Once the Sun Dome is filled and we have some kind of winning atmosphere I feel like all these new facilities will recruit themselves. We just need a winner.

  3.

People may want to listen, but his relationship with USF is over. Which SUCKS...this was a fantastic hire....

The only way the relationship isn't over is if it was just some stupid oversight by Kentucky.   If that is the case then I could see the two sides still working it out, but otherwise it's done.

"Oh? Masiello! Our bad. We thought you said Marsala! Yeah, Masiello's got like... idk... 12 degrees from here. Crazy amount of degrees. Sorry about that."

If it turns out to be a Kentucky goof... man... heads will roll somewhere, as they should.

    :applause:

  4. After watching Holtz and watching Taggart I can attest that theres definitely two type of coaches

Skip was a "our guys did a great effort and played hard" postgame persona type of coach.

Coach T is an "I apologize for this performance, this will corrected, we're gonna beat everybody" type of head coach after a loss.

The team takes on the personality of their head coach.

Its now clear to me that Stan is a "we had a great effort out there..." even though we lost type of head coach. I've had enough of that talk already, We need our teams to take on the attitudes of people like coach T. Especially after losses.

  5. If y'all are going to get your panties in a wad over crap like this at least make it a more legitimate gripe. If you look at other Lowe's Defining Moments pics, they all pretty much have why it's a defining moment ... so what's the deal with Carlton's catch?

Its an official page posting glorified erroneous information,

makes it look incredibly bush league.

lol at not explaining the picture being a more legitimate gripe
