He is intriguing. I am curious as to why he left the team after the regular season and didn't stick around for the playoffs. He is a good depth piece for sure, but virtually no threat as a pass catcher out of the backfield.

Goach said that he reached out wanting to come home.

xCJL has every reason to be bitter against USF, but he's still a cheerleader. Did he make mistakes? Sure. But at some point, USF needs to reconcile with the father of USF football.

Not trying to hijack the thread. Just glad he's doing his part to help USF in conference realignment.

I know Willie tried to get him, but the Goach seems like the kinda guy who doesn't give a crap and would get him back around.

What other east coast teams besides App State would make our conference better.

In my opinion on the other hand  being in a conference with teams like Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State, Oregon State, and Washington State would greatly improve our situation.

App, Liberty and Coastal would be fine with me.

Wash, Oregon State and Fresno bring nothing. I'd be fine with Boise and SDSU, but I dont think the distance is worth it. Pac and MW should just merge and call it a day.

Gross. Id rather stay in AAC and load up on more east coast teams like App State, etc.

One thing I do know is that the Pac 12 lost all their top tier teams and didnt add them. As for "diluting the conference" the Big 12 seems to still have success. They just added 4 losing teams to their conference in addition to a bunch of G5s and getting praise. So how would it have hurt the Pac 12? 🤷

Not all teams are equal. Big 12 added teams that were a net positive...the Pac didn't or wouldn't.

Doesn't seem like the networks are willing to invest in schools at this point they want immediate returns.

Also, all things being equal I would much rather have an east coast team than west coast.

They never had a chance to destroy the Big 12. But they should have added San Diego State, Fresno State, SMU and Boise State a long time ago.

Diluting the conference and lowering revenue with those teams would have destroyed the Pac12 faster.

Problem with the west coast is the lack of qualityish teams compared to the south and east.

I'm calling it right now. The ACC is going to allow FSU, Clemson, Virginia, and UNC leave. (I'm still not convinced FSU has a place)  They will pay the conference $20 mill a year for 10 years.   New schools USF, UNCONN, ECU and West Virginia take their spots   Thats $800 mill for the remaining 10 schools, plus new schools get get reduced income for 5 years., so they make a little more.

WVU going to the ACC is laughable. They are already in a better conference.

To play Devil's advocate, the success in the late 90s/early 2000s and the Brady era do a lot of heavy lifting for a franchise that's spent 21 of 48 seasons finishing last, another 7 finishing 2nd to last. Historically speaking they're twice as likely to finish last or second to last (28 times) as they are to finish with a winning record (14). I don't think simply having two Super Bowls would put them, as a franchise, above some like, say, the Minnesota Vikings, who have a storied history but just haven't been able to close the deal for the Lombardi.

Right, and they are one of the least likely teams to make playoffs and thus win a Super Bowl.

I'm a Bucs fan, but they have stunk up the place forever.

LOL .... They're not even one of the worst franchises in the NFL.

Not only are they the worst in the NFL. They were the worst in all of the big 4 for a long time.

NHL: Arizona Coyotes .475 - Excluding Seattle because they are brand new.

    MLB: Miami Marlins .460

    NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves .402

    NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers .404

  10. Rick can go back to irrelevancy now that he can't leech off Brady's fame. Not being biased is the lazy fall back excuse to kick the school any chance they get.

The Bucs are one of the worst franchises in the history of American sports. USF hasn't been to the very top, but have a better winning percentage than the Bucs.

I love the way he talks about the program as we.  We won on a national level early on and we lost a lot of games the last five years.  He's all in it sounds like.  Ownership!

I would just be elated beyond belief if we landed a competent coach that cared.  That's the real culture.  Care.

It is quite refreshing bc he gets it. Really hope he works out and we pay to keep him if he wins.

Will do. Although it's probably the official team store so don’t get your hopes up.
The Tampa Bay Sports Store has a very limited selection of polos.

Hey Bulls fans, want to rep USF in style? Tampa Bay Sports has got...

I'm still looking for a black hat with "USF" in the neon green. Bought one at the stadium that I lost, but still haven't found one online anywhere.

It might have been a tennis hat or something.

Now SaluteToService Uniforms honor people that served our country and it is one game per season. The slime green they wear a lot in all sportsand slime green is not USF Colors.  I see we were beating Blue Blood programs wearing the school colors and I see nothing wrong with those uniforms. I don't think we have any major wins with the Slime green neon scheme and it was when the program started to go downhill  ironically.
