    Not sure what admin is still here that refused to invest in football because we havent had accurate reporting to identify who that was( prolly Judy). We just had reactionary board members promote the stadium after we got lapped by UCF. I didnt say it was the fans fault. It is never the fans fault for not wanting to watch a garbage product.

    No, it is predicated on them not investing a single dollar in the program while getting lapped by other schools while getting relegated. This wasn't the fans fault it was the admin plain and simple. Stop making excuses for this school crapping themselves.

    The daily stampede/Bay area examiner people seem to think they did not want any part of the AAC. Hard to believe they turned down 7 mil.

    AAC gets 7 times the amount as the Sun Belt. If Sun Belt teams wont come to the AAC then Aresco needs to be fired immediately.

    So you dont follow college football, got it. They've won like 9 games a year on average since the late 80s.

    I missed where UTSA was playing a Pac12 schedule. They are trash....in the Pac. It remains to be seen what they will be like outside of that conference.

    Exactly, they just became part of the haves for the next 9 years, if not longer.

    Either AAC raids MWC when their contract ends or the MWC should raid USF, Tulane, Memphis, UTSA and whoever else. The top G5 schools need to get a clue here and combine to have a conference that can get a playoff spot or at least own that bid.

    Grab teams with a high potential that care about winning football games and have won games. Consistently grabbing that playoff spot is absolute main priority for the conference. Army is what they are.

    For sure. I just kinda assumed play calling wouldn't be one of those things, but now it could be.

    As much as I despise both of them deeply, Apple and Disney would be a force.

    They brought him back near the end of 22', so less than a year. I imagine it would take more than a year to get the ship back on course.

    They brought back Bob Iger to fix the issues from previous leadership. He's just cleaning up the mess now.

    The way I see it is they never would have got the ACC money, so throw out whatever the ACC pays to full members. They are losing the $63 million($7 mil x 9 yrs) from the AAC tv contract plus the $17 mil in exit fees, so $80 million for a guaranteed spot in the current ACC then whatever it looks like after team leave. Also, who knows what the AAC will look like in 9 years... As you mentioned, seems well worth that considering the boosts they will potentially get.

    So this might be something to keep an eye on. Goach will be on the field coaching instead of the box for the first time since 2019. Joel Gordon coached his entire career from the box until the midpoint of last season.
