I will admit that my pre-season prediction was ****... but nobody could had forseen this type of an epic fail.

Not even Deann Warwick could had quessed this **** was gonna go down.

Only a fool would write anything disparaging on a player's twitter account.

Question... was this fool a student or alum... in my view I think its fine for a student to call out another student, not so much for an alum.

... do we just start throwing seniors and juniors off the team, or bench them for their performances and begin starting freshman and focusing on next season?

For me its if we lose to FAU.

I thought we were a drinking school with a football problem...

somehow they have caught up very quickly -- it is only 55 to 45% now

Its fixed... the contest is supposed to be for one week, and for whatever reason its lasting for two weeks. Also you can vote like a million times... if this was legit it would last for one week, and only allow one vote per email address.

For me its pure anger... and I'm pissed because our players have no motivation, and no enthusiasim about playing here, and apparently zero pride. There is no way you can have pride, and allow a FCS team to tramble you at home. We have athletes on club sports who have more passion about playing here then these guys do.

Hell the USF Qudditch team has more pride and passion then our football team does.

I blame our appathy on Holtz. He was more concered with test scores then with winning football games.

I like the fact that we are adding mid-level BCS talent... but for the love of god why can't we add teams closer to Tampa?

 

Whats wrong with Wake Forest, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, LSU, UGA, or Clemson? I'm sure that they are looking for another BCS team having issues to beat up on... who knows we might be able to get better before we play them.

 

 

Those teams already have Florida games on their schedule.  At the moment, it might be easier to get some Big 12 games.

 

Fair enough... still like the schedule add... just wish they were a bit closer is all.

Not yet... just wait till be play UCF... then it will officially be rock bottom.

Hey, the crowd would had at least appeared to be full vs. seeing a bunch of phantom Rutgers fans on TV.

Something that should echo in your heads when you're making these terrible comments and hateful speech

 

You are talking about your fellow classmates. Win or lose, these student athletes are still part of your USF family. They sit right next to you in class, they study at night just like you do. 

 

Anyone can hoot and hollar when a team is doing good. How you treat your fellow student athletes when they are struggling, reflects more on YOU as a human being, than it does them as an athlete.

 

These are our fellow students and future alumni of USF. Let's not lose the big picture here, the purpose of college is to get an education. It's also time for you to learn compassion and understanding. 

 

Win or lose, these are your fellow USF students. Please show some class and understanding. They need your love, they need your prayers, they are suffering through one of the hardest times in their academic and athletic careers.

There is a big difference between losing a hard fought game by a point, and giving up and not even trying.

 

There is nothing positive that we can take away from a getting our asses handed to us by a high school team.

Fine... um... uh... well I'll be able to finally get those choice front row, south endzone seats, I have been holding out for come next season... thats something positive for me at least.

Vero is a waste... the team needs to be immersed in USF spirit and on campus... not camping 35 miles south and singing coombya by the camp fire.

Anyone would have pummeled us on Saturday... the players just quit... McNeese was just lucky enough to be in the right place, at the right time.

Our homecoming schedule is a joke... it needs to be the first weekend of October and needs to be against a cupcake. Typically we would win that game.

I'm personally fed up with USF making Lousivlle a homecoming game. Make FAMU the homecoming game or Stetson... if we practice enough we might be able to beat them.

Like I stated....they would have never lost a game like that, to a division II opponent. When I played here for one year in 1999, redshirt, we played Division IAA, and we would have beat McNeese St. Expect a better performance next week, YA RIGHT.

1) McNeese is not Division II

2) USF played almost exclusively non IA opponents that year, so, yes, we did lose to teams like that.

3) In the unlikely event that you are not a troll and you did play in '99 -- we've done just fine thus far without your 'expert' opinion, so why don't you disappear for another 14 years and give us your take then?

 

Come 2015 this team had better be a different team.

Glad to see you getting out and getting a Pasco Watch Party going... well be up the road in Brooksville at the Horse Lake Beefs.

Until we can sell out the lower bowl, we should not be selling tickets in the upper bowl.

Big Red is waaaaaay too big for our program. At our core we have about 15K core diehard fans, and 12K students = 27K fans. We need a smaller 40K stadium that better fits out fan base.

I'm not talking about band wagon fans... I'm talking real fans.

If we win then it will be by dumb luck... I wish I was more opptimistic but we don't have an offense... our O-Line is non-existent... our running backs are impitent, and we don't have a QB.

Eveld is better then Floyd, but not much better.
