  1. Why does USF always schedule conference opponets for Homecoming? I would much rather see USF play a team that we could beat.

Not sure why we always play Louisville, when every other school plays a different team for homecoming almost every single year.

Does not seem smart to me to schedule a conference game. There is a enough pressure on our boys to win conference games as it is, much less win homecoming ontop of a conference game as well. It would make more sense to schedule a OOC game for homecoming... not a cup cake, but a well known school that is beatabull.

Duke, Vandy, Kansas, Indiana, Arizona... etc.

No point to this post... just wanted to vent.

Also who is in charge of scheduling homecoming Athletics or the Homecoming Committee? Does the Homecoming Committee just look at the schedule and say we are going with this game this year... or does Athletics tell them that this game will be homecoming.

I would like to know so I can complain to whomever is in charge of this crapfest.

  2. Watching the post game interview Coach T was deflecting criticism of Eveld, such as "that wasn't Bobby" etc. I am pretty sure Eveld was playing a little hurt this past Sat. against Uconn. Right before the Uconn game I believe I saw him limping a bit and he was definitely hurt at the end of the Cinci game with all those shots he took. Eveld is no runner but against Cinci he was making some plays with his feet. Coach T mentioned Eveld was focused on the rush against Uconn and missing open players, I think this further supports my suspicions that he was not 100% and therefore was not seeing the field as well as he normally does. I mean he's no butterfly but he look less graceful then usual ;)

I bring this up b/c during the game I was calling for White at the half but the fact that Eveld came back out makes me think that White is not ready. Its idiotic to think its b/c they don't want to burn his redshirt. They will put in whoever gives them the best change to win. I mean I am sure Taggart was looking at Uconn's frosh and was thinking I sure would like to have him over here slinging the roc. The fact that Eveld was out there playing at <100% means that White's not ready. Whether he need's to learn the plays, needs to put on some weight, whatever he's just not ready. The only way you see him go is if both Bench and Eveld go down...just my two cents.

We are not going to burn a red shirt on this train wreck of a season.

Bench is our guy this year, and he will be back in time for Houston.

If we play our cards right we could go 7-1 in conference play for the first time ever.

  3. While I know that the mere thought of discussing this is verboten amongst some of you. If Bench can't go against UL and if MW is close to Bobby why not play him. As it stands now we have the same or better opportunity to win the conference as anyone else. Why would we "save" a redshirt while sacrificing a season? If anyone else was listening on the radio, Jim Louk made a classic Freudian slip, when he got just a bit excited when he thought that White had been put in the game.

Under no circumstances no... with or without White LV will kill us. I say let Eveld have this one, and rest Bench up for Houston.

We need to focus on winning the remaining conference games outside of Louisville. We have a zero shot at winning without an offense. Our defense is great, but without any offense we can't keep pace with LV.

It will be replay of the Miami game. 58-7 Louisville.

Checked on the Alumni Tailgate this week. $50.00 for tailgate AND bus ride to and from the game...in that order.

The tailgate happens b4 the bus ride?

You caught that one!?! Was told that it's not worth the risk to try to set up over there.

Wow... that makes me feel comfortable on their campus.

Bulls need to understand that UCF is not a safe place for us... they are not as bad as Miami fans, but they are darn near close.

If you drive you car to this game it will get vandalized, and you will likely get shiz tossed at you.

  5.

Pretty nice... almost makes we want to buy it.

I've been holding out for an ambulance or school bus, but this... is pretty nice too.

I'd stay as far away from a bus as possible at this point.

However, it would be cool to be able to store all your stuff in a trailer and then just hook up and go like that!

With the price of gas I paritally agree with you... however you can't beat it as an ultimate party vehicle.

Personally I would rather have an ambulance out of the two... but until I can afford an ambulance that actually runs, and is not rusted, something like this will do just fine.

  6. Woolard is one of the most highest paid AD's in college sports... he does not deserve this $$ and in typical USF fashion we have over paid another dud.

Since we are locked in a two season death spin I say lets clean house... fire Doug and Co. and bring in a professional SEC group from one of the more successful SEC programs.

With the money we pay Doug we could literally afford almost any SEC AD staff right now without any issues. Imagine what Taggart could do with a professional and successful SEC AD staff behind him vs. Doug and his merry band of key stone cops.

Based on what Doug makes we could ditch him, lure in a new SEC group, and still save some money in the process. We should not be stuck paying top dollar for an inferior product.

  7. I will be at this game with my family and will be cheering loudly, but I have no delusions that we will win. In fact I fully expect USF to get beat down again by about 20-30 points easily.

I HOPE we win, but I don't EXPECT us to win... people need to stop drinking the cool aid and accept this one simple fact...

Learn to embrace the suck and it will get easier...

  8.

There is no chance he'll be fired.  For one it wouldn't be fire but more importantly we couldn't afford it.  I think he needs to get this team headed in the right direction this year or we will see a tremendous drop in support next year.  But he probably could go 0-24 and not get fired.

If he goes 0-24 then there won't be a program left to fire him.

This year he gets a pass... next season he won't. If we don't improve to atleast .500 then I can guarantee that Taggart will be on his way out. If memory serves me right he has a 3 year contract, which should give him 3 years to proove himself. Hopefuly Woolard does not screw up again and give him an extension.

To answer the question... I don't think that Taggart can win with USF and I think we should had gone with another coaching candidate.

he has a 5 year contract.

Well heres to hoping that I'm wrong and Tag can pull it out of the ditch.

Going back to what I said... hopefully Woolard is not stupid enough to give Tag any extension, until he has put together consecutive bowl game seasons / AAC Championships.

  9. The Bulls will get their first win this week vs. Cincy and will start their AAC year 2 and 0 with a follow up victory on the road at UConn.

Hang in there Bulls fans as better days are ahead.  Like I said before the year started, not this year or next, but in year three of the CWT era.

We will finish 4 and 8 this year.

    Go Bulls!

Did you by chance miss the McNeese game...

  10. 11. I would tell Tag that he needs to start  coaching... we don't have a power running team, so its pointless to run a power Standord like running plan is pointless. He needs to coach and work up a routine that our current players can win with.

There is no excuse for losing to FAU and McNeese... those losses come down to coaching.

There is no excuse for not being able to beat McNeese, FAU.... I'll give tag a pass on these two losses, but going forward he should not be given a "pass" if we lose to UConn, Memphis, or SMU.

We have talent on our team, and by that I mean that we have enough talent on our team to beat McNeese, FAU, UConn, Memphis, and SMU.
