I expect a similar look at Bucs games if they don't drastically improve.

The Buc's will never look as bad on TV as USF does. Heck you could have 10K in the stands for a Bucs game and it would look like a sell out on TV.

All has to do with the seats.

The reason why 22K looks bad on TV is because we play in too large of a stadium, that has Rutgers red seats. If we had green or gold seats and played in a 40-45K stadium then it would not look so bad.

With that said now is the time for fans to step up their game... these are the times that define us as real fans. Any yahoo can buy a Bulls shirt, hat, or flip on the tv.

It takes real fans to get down to the stadium and support the Bulls even when they are doing piss poor.

What do you expect after the last 3 seasons of the Skip and BJ show. After our loss to McDonalds State I can guarantee that our attendance for the remainder of the 2013 seaosn will be around 22K or lower.

I'm really dreading the Miami game this season... BigRed will be stuffed with an ass load of toothless Miami fans twerking in the isles.

After the coaches get a chance to evaluate film, one would assume that all starters next week are players with a winning mentality.

I like this... Tag needs to get in the faces of these kids and get them fired up.

I think a reason why we suck so bad is tradition, and a lack of it. Its hard to get tradition going while playing in big red. Our players don't take playing at USF serious.

This kind of apathy does not exist at more traditional schools.

I could understand and accept losing to anyone else but McDonalds State... Taggart has ZERO fire and he looked shell shocked last night. This Taggart team is actually worse then any team uner Holtz.

There is no excuse for losing to McDonald State... ZERO...

Now don't get me wrong I'm still gonna support USF, they are my school, but I stand by my off-season stance that Taggart was not a smart choice, and that we should had brought in Petrino, Terry Bowden, or Tommy Bowden.

Petrino defeats an SEC team, and we get our asses handed to us by a DIVII team.

This is a coaching issue... I'm off the bus if we lose.

What exactly are unreasonable searches and seizures, when you are choosing to attend an event? If you don't want to go, don't, but please stop trying to make EVERY rule a violation of your Constitutional rights! BTW, nothing is absolute!

 

What have I or anyone else done to deserve to have our right to take a regular purse or bag into a public owned building?

Also this is not about security, its about stopping people form brining in food and drink from the tailgates. The NFL/Bucs can't push this crap without saying its for security.

How does a clear bag stop a guy with an explosive belt or vest? It doesn't. What's next full body pat downs and semi clear clothing?

 

not to worry-- at the Bucs game tonight, the gestapo security asked us to empty our pockets and then proceeded to wand both front and back of peoples bodies.

 

not sure  if this is going overboard with the security concerns-- but it sucks having to go through this type of drill to attend a sporting event even if it only takes a moment or two

After last season I don't expect us to beat anyone, with the exception of UCF, and after last night UConn.

This is typical stuff during a transition... the new people don't know what the old people did.

Also keep in mind that if you have a laptop computer and a tv with a computer monitor hookup, then you can hook up your laptop to your tv. All you need is the video monitor cable.

This would be cheaper then buying an Apple TV.

Hopefully this will be the only untelivsed game this season.

So, they are selling family section tickets again I presume but you can't bring your family.  Brilliant.  The terrorists have won.

This has been my main beef... now that I have a child I can't go to nearly as many games as I want to... its either go by myself and have a good time alone, or sit at home with my family and watch the game.

This also has nothing to do with security and has everything to do with trying to stop fans from smuggling in their own beer, and their legally owned concealed weapons. Meanwhile a dude with a vest strapped with explosives concealed with a baggy football jersey can easily walk in with no issues.

We need a stadium of our own.

we have no cable. by choice. CBS Sports NBC Sports ESPN all have apps for Ipad. havent looked for fox sports app yet but the CBS and NBC apps show games on saturdays,strictly Notre Dame on NBC app....firstrowsports on cpu on sundays for NFL and just bought an indoor antenna for Bucs games. we have Apple Tv also which mirrors the ipad and have a plug for ipad with a hdmi output on it. Plus My father in law and fellow  Bulls fan lives 2 miles away. So we split the games and travel to each others house. I will say the watchespn app for ipad is up and down with quality but so far (knocks on wood) the added watchespn app on Apple Tv has been great. We dropped cable and home phone from Brighthouse and only pay for internet. So many apps out there that we dont miss any shows we like and I am actually watching more football now than i was with cable....we pay $80+change a month for B-House high speed internet

Might have to do this... paying for cable sucks.

Im looking for the FAN's to actually show up and support the team.  We as fans should show regardless of opponent. If we want to be considered a "Power 5" We need to show up.  No EXCUSES!!!! Get on the Bus and support the team. 

If you cant make the game for a good reason, than give your tickets to someone who will use them or donate them to a church, boys and girls club ect.....  Just make sure someone is in your Seat.

 

Look at schools like SEC , Big 12, Big 10 ect... they pack 70,000 - 100,000 regardless.  No reason we shouldn't have 40,000 plus for EVERY GAME.

 

Cincy's first game is officially sold out (they are playing Purdue) Yeah its a Big 10 school but a Bad Big 10 school.

 

On a side Note Temple is considering building an OCS.   The same Temple team that only uses half of the lower bowl (Eagles stadium).

I know of 8 people (couples with young children) that decided to not go because of the new rules. They can't fit a diaper bag into a tiny clear plastic bag, plus other items. They are gonna watch it at home instead on ESPN3.

I do agree with you that everyone should go to the game if at all possible... tickets are only $4.99 should be a no brainer.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. I'd much rather hang out in that area, than just northwest of Campus. You can have stuff stolen in any area. We just have different opinions on what is a ghetto.

 

I think that both areas are the same... Columbus and Nebraska is just as bad as Suit Case City.
