  1. Also has best recruiting class in the WAC. Guy seems like a legit coach
  2. Has a few year experience in the NFL as well as recruiting Patrick Willlis to Ole Miss. Also...In 2008, Mike MacIntyre returned to college football as the defensive coordinator for Duke, and in his first season with Duke, the Blue Devils allowed 67.4 fewer yards and 9.8 fewer points per game than in 2007.[11] In 2009, the American Football Coaches Association recognized MacIntyre as FBS Assistant Coach of the Year.[12]
  3. I would like Butch Davis here, not sure why he would go to FIU and not here. I get he had some issues but he has excelled in the past as a Head Coach
  4. Something else must have happened other than his coaching.
  5. Says he is not a candidate for the USF opening according to GA and others. https://twitter.com/gregauman Florida DC Dan Quinn tells Times' Antonya English@TBTimes_Gators he's not a candidate for USF job. No contact, happy where he is.
  6. Silieo is an idiot, and I doubt we want a coach who just got fired from his Sun Belt team
  7. +1 Big step down, IMO. Must be the challenge that intrigues him... Im assuming he will get a big pay raise. He is the one who complained when Urban Meyer came to Big Ten and recruited his pants off. Cant imagine what he will think of saban and miles recruiting style
  8. Wisconsin coach Beilema takes the Arkansas job. That is a shocker
  9. Rumors are out there that Kirby Smart will be the next coach at Auburn. FootballScoop Staff â€@footballscoop So @AStateNation is reporting that Gus Malzahn has now accepted the head coaching job at Auburn http://FootballScoop.com/the-scoop
  10. Guy convinced 30 Florida players to go play at WKU, thats how many are on their roster. Pretty impressive.
  11. Taggert is being heavily considered by Auburn right now. He may be at a perfect time in his coaching career to do something big. WKU has 30 players from Florida on their roaster. He could be a very good coach for us.
  12. No one in the SEC is going to hire Petrino
  13. Syracuse would jump at B1G sure but it all depends on what happens with Maryland and the 50 million exit fee
  14. Wow, 247 is legit, Im sort of shocked, maybe it will at least light a fire under his butt.
  15. Well given that WVU got out of their clause then you might be right... but he will pay the fee whatever that may end up being. ESPN reported that he was financing the departure of Maryland when the news broke. WVU paid what the owed when they left. No they didn't, they negotiated a sttlement and left earlier than the contract allowed. No where in the settlement deal are "exit fees" even mentioned. http://content.usato.../1#.ULZUjWc5v7M Right they paid what they owed. They paid half their exit fee up front. They paid their exit fee early and more money on top of to leave early. The issue here is people saying Maryland wont be paying 50 million. WVU paid more than there exit fee, to leave early

  17. Embarrassing overall. Maybe the timing of it with everything going on, just not a glimmer of daylight around here.
  18. Bubba get over it. UA pres is not paying 50 million dollars to the ACC. He is isnt stupid
  19. Unless it is FSU or Clemson I think they are fine where they are at. They are the smartest Conference out there by getting their teams to sign a Grant of Rights. Pretty stable with that in hand.
  20. WOW.. no he has not. I'm not saying I think we'll be joining the B12, at all. But McMurphy has been pretty out of the loop lately. Dont take me for BMM lover becasue I couldnt stand him when he voered USF and was happy when TBO canned him.Other sports writers have been quoting him as a source on all of this breaking stuff since expansion began. He doesnt post about dramatic rumors or anything wild so maybe thats why you think he has been out of the loop, but if he reports something right now, its going to happen.
  21. Say what you want about the guy but he has been right and first on all this expansion crap Brett McMurphy â€@McMurphyESPN Big 12 doesn't want USF RT @john_agresti: do you think South Florida's lifeboat off sinking ship that is the Big East come from Big 12?
  22. I agree, they hold the key to our invite to the ACC... they go, or we don't! Pray for more chaos, which if history tells us anything, more chaos is coming... Ill tell you what bothers me is the following quote from the ESPN article: The ACC also considered UConn and Cincinnati for membership. However, sources told ESPN the league only wanted Louisville because there is a sense among league presidents that the ACC can add more schools at a later date if the ACC lost any other schools. So by all accounts we are no closer than 3rd in line. So if another two schools get pulled from the ACC, UCONN an UC are next up. What if its FSU and Clemson? I see no guarantee we move up as the ACC will still have Miami. If FSU moves and we dont as part of that replacement, then its time to panic. We will never get invited to the ACC, and FSU will never leave the ACC... the only reason why Maryland left was because the owner of Under Armor, who is a Maryland Alum paid the $50 million dollar exit fee for them. So unless FSU has a huge money donor that is willing to pay for FSU to leave the ACC then I don't see it happening. Our only hope is the Big12. What are you talking about????? No he didnt. Maryland is going to fight to not have to pay it. Why didnt he step up and save their sports programs in the past that they have been cutting. http://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/news/2012/11/19/under-armours-plank-acc-exit-fee.html
  23. Finally quit or see the light when ECU comes to town and beats our A$$
  24. Brett McMurphy â€@McMurphyESPN BREAKING: ACC votes to add Louisville sources tell @ESPN. Cards will be 6th team to leave Big East for ACC
