"I'm not going to have to fly on a plane to get home. I'm familiar with the Tampa area, so it's not much of a transition. USF definitely has a family atmosphere, and wherever I go, I want college to feel like a home away from home."

    It would be nice to open a pipeline to Armwood. As far as getting other kids in the future. I cant imagine with the number of big time players from Hillsborough county that go to FSU, UF, or whatever "Big Time" schools, that Grady will be able to get them to starts swaying them to leave those offers and come to USF just because he did. I think that whole aspect is way over-hyped.

    Grady was messing with Floyd because he is our only real QB recruit. I think he was saying Holtz doesn't know talent because he picked up Matt Floyd, as a joke. Joking or not, pretty dumb thing to say about a head football coach at a university that has offered you a Scholarship.

    You're exactly right ... We should have told T Rex, "Screw you!" last year. Ha, show me how TRex was doing anything this kid is doing. Waiting until the last minute which you obviously construe as not knowing what he wants and not having a desire to be here ... I guess the difference is we weren't every really in it for TRex. He had taken an official a full year before NSD. There really wasn't much buzz leading up to it that Holtz had gotten him to come. With Grady there has been this long drawn out ordeal against schools who are not, say, SEC caliber, but schools we should be a better choice. I still dont like the comparison, because someone like TRex can do whatever he wants to do as long as he comes here. You're talking about two different caliber recruits.

TRex was one of those recruits you would give your left nut for anyway. You didnt see him talking to anyone and everyone, opening twitter accounts to see how many people will comment or follow him. Much different scenario.

    If he chooses us doesn't he have the desire to be at USF? Would be nice for it not to be such a struggle. There are 19 other guys (currently) who didnt have to go about it this way. Everyone is different, I understand that. People are hanging onto every bit of what this kid says. Not like he is a make or break recruit, especially if he wants to play QB.

    Great. Another Look at me athlete who cant get enough attention. I'd rather have kids who know what they want, and have a desire to be at USF.
