  1. Having seen the video from last weekend I say yes. Kid has a cannon for an arm. If no one else wants to step up and pull the trigger then I want someone that wants to be here.
  2. I think it's 50/50. They believe he may be healthy in time for fall practice, so they'll see where he's at in his rehab and where he fits on the depth chart if he's able. Chris has been cleared for about a month now for full contact and drills... including games. They want the opportunity to shift Montgomery back to safety which is his natural position if at all possible to add depth. It's all dependent on Josh Brown stepping up . Don't be surprised if you see 31 playing quite a bit this year.
  3. You could also add`Mike McFarland and Terrence Mitchell to that list as other 4-star players. And on the defensive side of the ball the last couple of years we got: DT - Elkino Watson DT - Todd Chandler CB - Chris Bivins (might have been a 3 star on some sites and a 4 star on others) DE - Tevin Mims (Texas and JUCO transfer) DE - Aaron Lynch (Notre Dame transfer) 5 star Just...... well..... ****
  4. The full report is linked earlier in this thread... The HC, at least one Asst HC and multiple people in the front office of Armwood lied more than once to the FHSAA investigator concerning their involvement in the allegations. Not a criminal crime but yes it is a major violation. A good comparison might be the SMU situation from the 80's. AHS is a high profile program that has been illegally recruiting players for well over a decade... They finally slipped and got caught. The expected punishment is forfeiture of the 2010 and 2011 seasons plus all titles and the fines to the school... Which old be close to 100k. Where would the school get 100k to pay the fine? Just got home after a full day at work and noticed the extra 0 LOL Yes the school district would cover the fine
  5. Be careful, be very, very careful, or he's likely to go all Southshore on you Now who's stalking who?

  7. Not sure I understand your angle on this... Armwood knew the rules... Agreed to abide by them... Willfully broke them.... Got caught... Then admitted that they did it in 16 documented cases over the last two seasons. What am I missing?

  9. The head football coach was specifically involved in two of the 15 charges that AHS admitted guilt to.
  10. AHS admitted guilt to 15 of the 17 violations.... But now it appears that they may have to forfeit the 2010 season as well.... Oops.... http://www2.tbo.com/sports/prep-sports/2012/jun/18/2/armwood-also-facing-forfeiture-of-2010-season-ar-417422/
  11. Yep... unlike you I can admit when I'm wrong... which I was in that case. At what point do you just walk away?
  12. Rumour and speculation, until you provide a source. http://southflorida.247sports.com/Board/59416/Is-Asiantii-Woulard-a-early-enrollee-10195844
  13. I am pretty sure that is the plan, I read somewhere a while ago that he was planning to graduate in DEC and enroll for Spring Semester andSpring camp. Don't know if he is still on track, but he has been a good student. Would be great but as of now he will not be a spring enrolle.
  14. You do understand that UCiF payed Texas a boat load of money for that series right?
  15. IIRC he was supposed to enroll for Summer B.
  16. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel ... just looks like someone told him/her to write an op-ed column about an ocs and they did 15-20 minutes of research and threw that together. Trip I know the author... He's a pretty smart guy.
