We're missing Coach Taggart

Is coach strong really a good coach? Serious question, brought some guys to Louisville with him that were known for nefarious recruiting tactics. Got some good talent and won the big east once. Went to Texas and failed miserably, and can't say he was short on talent there. I apologize in advance for my negativity. I've been watching the bulls for such a long time and I thought we were going in the right direction after some miserable years in recent memory. I feel like Coach Strong may end being the new Skip holtz for us 1.25 games into our season

I think all talk about going undefeated should stop now, I don't think we win the conference with the way we've played so far even after the "big" win last week. I hate being negative about this but all off-season reading about Sterling Griffins vertical offense and power running game, I had a feeling we would be doomed. It's too early to tell but we do not look like a ranked team. Flowers having to learn a new offense which is not suited for him during his senior year is going to haunt us. Our defense should be better at least

I agree, I don't think this offense suits our personnel. The game was tough to watch, we had some success with long bombs but that was because SJ is an inferior team, the coverage was there we just made the catches. I don't think this offense is suited for our most valuable weapon which is QF's legs. We utilized our WR blocking so much better in the running game with the Gulf Coast. I miss Taggart already. The defense did look better though, which is nice.

Based on what you seem so far, do you think they CCS should have maybe kept a lot more of the Gulf Coast offense instead of changing it completely? It seems like this offense isn't suited for Flowers's skill set

Since the new Sun Dome court has been posted by Bill McGillis, does anyone remember the thread or at least the link where someone posted possible renderings for the Sun Dome floor? A few months ago, that would have been an interesting angle. In an earlier interview on scout Wiggins talked about being cousins with Coney and wanting to play together but today the situation has changed. The staff has soured on Coney a bit and unless he initiates something they won't be recruiting him much or at all

Boy I could feel the love in that video. You can tell our coaching staff has done a great job wiyh the introduction of this young man to Bull's football. If there is any big time prospect USF could land this year, its Montgomery but its going to be tough as hell and we'll need to have a big season. USF was the first to offer him, they did it during the Sling N' Shoot during his sophomore year. As for the Knight that commented on his Top 13 being too big, the kid has 40 plus offers, narrowing it down to 13 by the summer is more than reasonable...I don't get that foolish comment as if the kid is some type of attention whore. And Reef you asked why would a Florida kid want to play in BFE? He's not really a Florida kid, he's originally from Louisiana. I believe he moved to Florida for HS

Just some numbers for you guys, at the recent ESS combine held at Armwood HS, VH3 checked in at 5'11 177 lbs, ran a 4.31 (wind aided) 40 and a 4.45 (against the wind) had a 4.03 shuttle and I believe he had a 34" vertical (don't quote me on the vert) He almost won defensive MVP and was one of the top cover guys there for sure
