  1. So is it true that while the stadium seating chart says 225 is the Visitors section, and it's grayed out on the Ticketmaster chart, USF was sending tickets to sections 233 and 234?  What am I missing here?  There are no tickets available in section 225 on Ticketmaster, so is it possible we sold out our allotment and got more sections from UCF??!!

I'm asking because we've decided to head to the game, was online looking at what's available, and want to sit near as many friendlies as possible.

Thank you for your service. I was in the Army during peacetime.  I also want to recognize all the veterans, but a special shout out to those that saw action, much appreciated!  @ArmyBull@Skingraftare a couple other vets, thanks brothers.

I share your sentiments. I served as an electrician on submarines (boomer subs to be specific) during peace time. I got a great experience and was set up for success as a result.  I honestly get a little uncomfortable when recognized because even though most didn’t give the ultimate sacrifice, so many sacrificed way more than I had to.

So yes - a special salute to those!

Peter King had an interesting excerpt from an article in the athletic this week about the demise of the chicago tribune. I think we're lucky to get the little coverage that we do.

Fun fact - I delivered the Chicago Tribune from my bicycle back before it became an adult job.

I held onto the print version of the TBT for a long time - something about holding a paper in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. But since going to the e-version with my tablet I don’t look back.

Kind of like the move to e-tickets. Oops - too soon?😉

moving along a few years later -- and these bars might have had USF students at them as well. I like that some mentioned the SoHo bars like MacDintons.

I was a big fan of Red Dog on Bay to Bay Blvd (appears they changed their name to simply "The Dog")  and Four Green Fields-- had Irish musicians a lot and was packed on St Patty's. Drank a ton of Harp's there.

Pretty sure Red Dog was just a place that gave strippers somewhere to earn money serving drinks on their days off!  Their theme nights were incredible.

Just got back from that emotionally draining **** show.  Hardly anyone in the stands, but many of us lost our voices and are just devastated.  This is what being a fan is all about, but you need to win one once in a while.  Anyhow, thanks to the fans who never gave up.  I’ll be back next week, but I’m not sure how much more of this I can tolerate.

I totally get it - the heat was brutal, but the result was worse.   I’ll continue to go, but I’m getting weak.

I can’t believe my buddy and I are still planning that trip to Orlando.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but I'm assuming they are holding whatever the announcement is for the Monday after the first FBS victory this year.  Can't come out with something to generate excitement and ask for more support right after another loss.  Hoping we hear on Monday, October 18th.

    GO BULLS!

No I think it will be Halloween.  My buddy, Linus, is taking me to a pumpkin patch where he tells me the announcement is being made...

To me nepotism is when you are getting opportunities you don’t deserve, Steve has earned his way and I would be ok with that. I am saying I don’t think his dad is qualified and is in the twilight of his career where he has probably just mailed it in, you can’t tell me a 67 year old overweight man with little success throughout his career is providing much benefit to this program and is simply cashing checks at this stage of the game.

To smazza's point - what descriptor are you actually saying that makes you believe he can't possibly be doing his job?  67 years old? Overweight?  Male?  Or little success?

I've often wondered how many on here are paid members of the Lifetime Alumni Assoc. and/or season ticket holders.

Been a football season ticket holder since Day 1, and while my wife and I have been members of the Alumni Association since graduating, we just recently paid for lifetime membership. I think there was like a 50% off promo or something like that.
