I think you are correct. Charlie Strong's twetted "More big news for the program!!!?" eariler today.

I want Nevada in the BIg East. I like their style of play. they need to grow the program a bit more, but I think they would be a good addition to the west. I think they are a better program than SDSU.

As much as I couldn't stand him as coach of Rutgers, I have to give it to Coach Schiano here. He's loyal and he cares. To me, that's a real man. Agreed. I am starting to like this hire more and more for the Bucs.

This is good news, but 1.3 million couldn't make a dent in rennovating the claw. It costs a bit more than that to rennovate a golf course, even just a simple rennovation would exceed that. 1.3 million won't you 18 newly rennovated greens. I hate playing the claw. not a very well managed facility. the track is ok, but it is always in need of rennovation.

I am not arguing with the reasoning behind it. It makes perfect sense. I am arguing with the sense of entitlment our fan base feels to their donation dollars. My point is they can spend it whereever they want. In my eyes, a family member being a Tulane grad should trump us 100% of the time. Besides the tax deduction from point one will happen with the Tulane deduction.

Why should it be used to better USF? If you were renting a house would you expect the rent you paid to be used to further your education or better your life in some other way? the Glazers have no connection to USF and owe the school nothing. Exactly. We sound like a bunch of wussies expecting a hand out. Freaking Liberals.....LOL! The only tie in we have with them is.... they get our profits becuase of the lease deal. Don't blame them we gave them access to the revenue stream when we agreed to the lease. Blame our administration. They are the ones that have been too lazy/inept to get an on campus stadium in the works. Who the F are we to tell the Glaziers who should get their donoations? They have not ties to us, quit your complaining. If you don't like it, tell our adminsitration to get to work on our own stadium. Replace "lazy/inept" with "fiscally responsible" and you've got a winner ... LOL I almost typed "insert adjective here" For the record, I am NOT A TROLL. I graduated from USF in 2000, and I have been a board meember for a few years. I have been more active on the boards lately, as I spend more time at home (I have a 31/2 yr olf nd 20 mo old.)

I have no problem with them donating to a school they have an actual tie to over ours. Would you donate to a school just becuase you live in the same city, or would you continue to support USF? I will never tell anyone how to spend their money, no matter how it is earned. They are in a business relationship with us. They owe us nothing except to fulfill our lease agreement.

Sorry folks, I don't blame them. If i made millions, owned a team, leased out my stadium to the local university and lived in another city, i would donate to USF not my local tenent. Don't get pissed that we don't have more donors like them in our fold.
