I ended up getting a used set of TaylorMade OS2's with graphite shafts, and a R5 360 Driver http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/product.jsp?SUBCATEGORY_ID=5165 It turns out the golf shop at the flea market in Oldsmar is basically a T & D used store. They gave me a decent discount and let me demo the clubs at the range. It, uhh, turns out that clubs made me, uhh, slice the ball a lot and, uhh, sometimes they made me top it...but I got them anyways. I figure they're just not broken in yet, right?

I am a Chris Lowery fan, I celebrate his entire collection. If we can land this guy, it's only a matter of time before USF Athletics will be a Big East powerhouse in MBB, WBB and FB.

I'm friends with a guy who recently graduated from SIU. Their basketball program is doing all the right things and so is their coach. The teams RPI is at #7 right now and we all know who is responsible for that. There is a good chance they could make it into the Elite 8 at least, so to have Lowery at USF will not only rejuvinate this program, it would turn it into a Big East power. Only 2 big east football schools made it into the tourny this year and if Lowery comes aboard, there is a good chance we could be Big East Champs in Football and Basketball in the same year 5 years from now. Lowery in '07!

How come USF doesn't go after the big names? "The star system is inaccurate" I know, I know but why not? Who puts the list of schools on Scout or Rivals (besides the webmaster)? Is it the recruit or the schools that are actually interested? How can we go after that blue chip if our name isn't even on the list? Next year are we just going to pray that another 3 star Grothe comes along or are we going to offer the Jimmy Clausen on 2008? You can't win the lotto if you don't buy a ticket

Scratch Mark Few's name.  I didn't realize he's been at Gonzaga for 18 years.  The first 10 he was an assistant under Dan Monson.  Also, he recently signed an contract extension through 2016, so it seems he's at home in Spokane.  He went to Oregon so he's Pacific NW to the bone.  I guess I should have researched him before posting it. It's alright that you jumped to that conclusion. What person wouldn't want to live in Tampa rather than Spokane? I know I wouldn't and I'm Pacific NW to the bone The answer to your question is Mark Few.  He'd rather be in the Pacific NW fly fishing. I posted that as more of a joke. The best class I ever took while at Eastern Washington U was White Water Rafting. Gonzaga was our rival but more of a UCF vs. USF rivalry. Their fans are the biggest pr!cks.

Me too. The question is if trouble follows him. I guess a better way to put it is...Is he responsible for the cause of investigation, or was he just caught in the middle?

I dunno. I don't have all the fact which, is why I said the situation could go either way. My post in now way leans one way.

This is one side of the story. His teams seem to deal with a lot of turmoil but on who's account? The AD? The Assisants? Snyder? I'd say look into it. This story doesn't make him out to be shady, just the people around him. And that could go either way. We don't need to undue RMC's efforts and success on rebuilding the teams image. I like Snyders graduation rates though. I know they don't win games but he seems to have the best of both worlds.

So he was raised a rich prep. Mercer Island is the Davis Island or (insert REALLY rich neighborhood of Tampa) of Western Washington. Mercer Island high school is the (insert REALLY shady cheating high school of Tampa) of Western Washington. They won A LOT but cheated to get it done. Four coaching seasons and 4 Tourneys? I renege my prior vote (option E) and choose this guy
