  1. As I have stated before, I don't give a hoot what Windbane or anyone else choses to do with their money and time, but if the program choses to reward those who commit felonies with scholarships then they will no longer see any of my money or my butt in the stadium. There is life without football. Have a nice day.
  2. I really don't quite understand your obsessive concern with what I do regarding USF football. Get a life. My support for USF football this year will be limited to the renewal of my season tickets At the time players who have committed felonies play for USF I will no longer support the program in anyway. He got caught in the act...so whether the charges are dropped or not the fact remains he did the deed. .
  3. Murdock plans transfer to USF TAMPA - Former Middleton receiver O.J. Murdock, a nationally coveted recruit who spent two seasons at South Carolina, plans to transfer to USF this summer. "I want to be closer to home. My family needs me, and this is a better fit for me," said Murdock, a first-team all-state selection ranked as the nation's No. 10 prep receiver by Rivals.com two years ago. Murdock, 5 foot 11 and 187 pounds, redshirted his first year with the Gamecocks, then played sparingly last season, catching one pass for 8 yards before he left the team in December. He will have to sit out the 2007 season and will have two years of eligibility with the Bulls. Murdock was arrested in October in Tampa on a felony charge of grand theft, accused by police of shoplifting about $420 in clothes from a store at University Square Mall. Murdock said he expects his legal problems to be resolved by the end of this summer. USF has not received a release from South Carolina, so coaches cannot yet speak with Murdock.
  4. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. True, but the game is being played on October 18, not NOW. BIG DIFFERENCE

  6. Newsome’s Hine back on recuiting wagon Posted February 08, 2007 by Nick Williams Updated Feb 08, 2007 at 04:54 PM The evening before National Signing Day, Newsome offensive lineman Chaz Hine was content with the idea he wouldn’t be among the dozens of players from around Hillsborough County signing letters on intent. Though he received a scholarship offer from Charleston Southern, he decided to walk-on at South Florida. Tuesday night, however, his phone rang off the hook. Florida Atlantic and Southern Illinois, both of which invited Hine for an official visit but did not offer a scholarship, along with Florida International and Arkansas State, have contacted the 6-foot-4, 300 pound lineman. “As of now, I’m still going to USF, but that may change in the next couple of days.â€Â
  7. Apparently you lack a sense of humor. The kids I'll be keeping a eye on next season will be attending school at 4202 E Fowler, I'll leave it up to you and the coaches to keep an eye on the HS kids after all that's part of what they get paid to do.
  8. I hear there's a future 5 star RB over at Chester W. Taylor, Jr. Elementary School...but he may be leaning towards signing with Rutgers or WV.
  9. Polls and stars count for schit....it's what they do when they are on the college gridiron that counts and if the team doesn't win game then even that doesn't mean schit.
  10. Of course you knew **** well what I was referring to...andwhat do you get at gousfbulls.com (Re:recruit signing)...NADA except a link to the pay site (press pass).
  11. Go to GoBulls.com and you get nada except a link to a pay site. Go to the Uof L site and get the whole ball of wax... http://uoflsports.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/020707aad.html Louisville Football Announces 2007 Recruiting Class
  12. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 E-mail this | Print page UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE 'Low in numbers but high in impact' That's consensus on Cardinals' class By Jody Demling jdemling@courier-journal.com The Courier-Journal New University of Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe and his staff have been playing catchup on the recruiting front since his hiring less than a month ago, but by all indications they've done a bang-up job. The Cardinals' incoming class will be small -- probably only about 16 players -- but there is expected to be plenty of quality when the national signing period begins today. "Most coaches have difficulty pulling in the kind of athletes they want in only a month or two," said Allen Wallace, national recruiting editor for Scout.com and publisher of SuperPrep. "He's been one of the exceptions to the rule." U of L has commitments from the top two players in Kentucky -- Male all-purpose back Douglas Beaumont and St. Xavier running back Victor Anderson -- plus a top running back from Illinois (Dale Martin), the son of a former Super Bowl MVP (Matt Simms) and several big-time junior-college players. "It's unbelievable for a coach to do in a month," CSTV recruiting expert Tom Lemming said. "It's low in numbers but high in impact." The Cardinals will celebrate the signings with a party for fans at 4 p.m. today in the Brown & Williamson Club at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The Cards' class, which had just four commitments when coach Bobby Petrino bolted for the Atlanta Falcons in early January, is generally ranked among the nation's top 50. It's rated No. 43 by Rivals.com, No. 44 by ESPN.com and No. 49 by Scout.com. "It's solid," ESPN.com analyst Tom Luginbill said. Beaumont, the state's Mr. Football, finished his career at Male with 5,954 yards and 91 touchdowns. Anderson is the all-time leading rusher (4,008 yards) and scorer (75 TDs) in St. X history. Both were first-team Courier-Journal All-Staters, as was another U of L commitment, Newport Central Catholic defensive end Zach Kiernan. Martin rushed for more than 2,700 yards the past two seasons at Bolingbrook (Ill.). Simms -- son of Southern High School, Morehead State and New York Giants great Phil Simms -- led Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep to a state title as a senior. U of L has a commitment from Trotwood (Ohio) Madison defensive back C. J. Peake -- one of the top players in that state -- but he's now considering Wisconsin again and is expected to make an announcement this morning. U of L's list of junior-college players is impressive. It's led by the top-ranked one, Visalia (Calif.) College of the Sequoias defensive back Woodny Turenne, and former University of Miami linebacker Willie Williams. U of L is still awaiting word on several prospects. Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson defensive end Patrick Grant, linebacker Josh Bynes and offensive lineman Kevin Bryant will announce their decisions this morning. The Cardinals still are in the hunt for New Market (Ala.) wide receiver Lydariez Friend. Another prospect, Norco (Calif.) offensive lineman Adam Tello, committed to Arizona State last night.

  14. My wife and I each added two to our t-shirt collections last night and each got a basketball desktop cellphone holder courtesy of ABC Sports.
  15. There was more than one ND fans at the gals game...too bad more USF MBB fans came early to support the women. Student support is dismal , which is a shame since many l of them really could use the free t-shirts to upgrade their wardobes. Nalini has be playing exceptionally well recently.
  16. WRONG.............. How about Leavitt Stadium!!!!! How much do you think Jim Leavitt would be willing to pay for the naming rights?
  17. Great game and the free GREEN Bulls T-shirts was a very nice bonus.
  18. He didn't qualify for admission to USF (poor SAT's) I heard that he applied to Buffalo..otherwise he's off to Pearl River CC.
  19. I've never been to a basketball game where the baskeball team watched the halftime activities.. save for a game between Abraham Lincoln Elementry and the PS 109.
  20. Easter Sunday...It will be proceeded by an egg hunt ;D
