  1. Is it really worth the investment....for a sport with a small audience...it's unlikely to ever pay for itself..."Tampa's not a basketball town"...put the money into football and bring BE Titles and NC's to Fowler Ave...Dining Hall, OCS, more money for asst coaches and new uni's for the cheerleaders.

  5. I didn't think that donations can be directed to be used for a particular sport.
  6. 1. Tampa connection 2. Ties to USF 2. Name recognition 3. Colorful 3. Proven ability to fill the arena Two names come to mind: Leo Anthony Gallagher and Terrance Gene Bollea
  7. You'd think someone who really went to the games would know that... : How many soccer games were you at Triple B? "Pretty well" is to say the least pretty vague and very subjective. Attendance isn't bad when the the visiting team brings in a lot of it's fans. IE: Rutgers....there were probably as many Scarlet Knight fans as there were USF fans. If it weren't for the kids soccer teams and their families the stands would be "pretty empty"...but don't take my word for it, come on out to the games and see for yourself.
  8. Bring in Ron Popiel....the man knows how to sell.
  9. Bitter, no not in the least. Eric can take his attitude and put it where the sun don't shine. I don't need his "hospitality" (whatever that is). No, I don't attend every USF athletic event and doubt anyone could. Soccer isn't among my favorite sports. I started attending matches as a show of support to the athletes; it's too bad not many USF fans do.
  10. Actually, the men's soccer team typically draws a good crowd for their games. I think with our new coaching staff, women's soccer will draw better as well. I'll certainly be at some of their games and we'll probably do some hospitality at 2 of those games for people that do come to the game. I'll make sure to leave you off that list. Eric I don't need to be on your fuggin list...I go to men's and women's games to support the teams not for your hospitality...hell I've gone to both men's and women's matches on the same day. While your at it, leave me off your contact list the next time you're looking for donations.
  11. All he needs is to add a couple of felony charges to his resume and he'll regain the support of many of the members here for USF to recruit him ;D
  12. So, can the women count on you to be at the UF and Nova matches?
  13. That's like wanting a party's candidate for office to win the election but not bothering to go to the polls.
  14. Very few people care enough about USF soccer, much less USF Women's Soccer to attend their games. How many posters here attend USF soccer matches? How many plan to be in Gainesville for the Bulls/Gator match-up?
  15. The team he was playing for should take care of his funeral expenses.
  16. Catch 47 has picked up a ton of games in the last year or so that would have otherwise not been televised. They've covered Men's Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, and Football. If you dont think that's good coverage I'd like for you to give me a better alternative. How many men's basketball games were aired by Catch 47 this season?
  17. No not all, but it would be nice if our "Official Cable Provider" could provide those of us in it's viewing area with coverage of important games like the BE Women's Basketball Championship rather than a documentary about Babe Ruth or whatever it was.
