Mosaic is a huge corporation, phosphate I think ... Biggest land holder in Florida and a true manufacturing industry here in Florida. Basically, crop yields would be 50% less globally without Florida Phosphate. I work there out in FishHawk , FL. I am from Tampa Bay and grew up on mad beach. I actually remember USF getting their football team back in 97 right? Big deal locally.

Ha!!! It always has been. Deny it all you want. Now I get it...UCF was midmajor and USF was fortunate enough to leapfrog UCF into the Big East. Of course USF did everything it could to distance itself and timing was everything. I get it and it made perfect sense , but under it all UCF was always of similiar size, 90 miles away and was the only other mid tier FL program. You really hit the equivalent of conference lottery to get into a BCS conference the way you did. For some I am sure there is this reality where USF is in the B12 and UCF is in CUSA. That was never realistic. This is a natural rivalry. UCF has nothing to gain from beating USF..it is now a lose lose for UCF. The only win is winning the conference. Our fanbase and program have nothing to gain from pushing this rivalry other than maybe package deal to big12. Regardless, it is a rivalry whether you want to admit it or not. And despite a lopsided win/loss history it always was.

We are all over Bulls..UCF is taking over the Mosaic box Friday. Actually I think the Bulls will still hold majority. We shall see. I kind of want to leave the box though. Not intimate enough for me. I need to get a few beers thrown at me..you know..the good times..40 yard line at least.

This is grossly inaccurate let's be honest. UCF's rise had zero to do with USF and would have not changed. USF'S decent was inevitable in the ebb and flow of football...it just goes that way unless you are Alabama

Funny piece of history here. UCF offered Paxton Lynch but prioritized a commit who flipped to Auburn on signing day. After the flip we went back to Paxton and he said he was all tigers. Doh! Did USF offer him?

To shed some light on this. This is no disrespect to USF. We all know usf is a rival..always have been no matter what you say. O'Leary essentially said as much on the radio show. He did condemn the use of the word hate or ridiculous high emotion for this game rather like any other game it is standing in the way of a potential conference championship. GOL has preached this every year. He says the same thing every game every week. He always says it is a one game season every week for 10 years now. So..what works? Is it tempering emotions and focusing on mental aspect of film study, practice, etc. or getting really emotional and hyping it up with your players with past games? I tend to think you can have best of both worlds, but I am concerned that Oleary needs to let the kids be a little more emotional about this game. You could say I am **** concerned about this game. Isn't it senior day too?

I think this one will be close Bulls. USF is slightly better on offense..slightly worse on Defense. UCF is moderately better on defense and moderately worse on offense. Rivalry games are so emotional they can be hard to predict. I see great talent at USF. If it executes UCF will be in trouble. We (UCF) will waste alot of downs running the power rather than spread it out. At least when USF runs power sets there is the threat of tight end. We run off tackle every time...so predictable. UCF offense is bipolar and as always depends on QB play. We will not be able to run against the Bulls in my opinion. USF will shut that down. I will be pleasantly surprised if we can. UCF has won most games despite a horrible running game and ypc. Look to that early. USF is no SMU defense so I think we will have to win in the air.

Bulls fans, I watched your game tonight and have caught pieces of several games this year. As bad as you think your team is..well..your not that bad. Consistency is key and that has lacked especially at the QB position. You guys pounded your chest about your recruiting class and how much better it was than UCF's and I told a few of you that Tyler Harris made our class better. I am not trying to throw that in your face, but point out that Taggart lack of signing a legit qb prospect is what is killing you..I know..capt. obvious. Anyways, as bad as you think this is..it really isn't if you consider how long Taggart has had. You can see he has signed alot of talEnt and realistically that won't pay off until 2015..2016. Had he found a good transfer qb or otherwise you guys could be at the top of the conference. I expect Friday to be very competitive and think the usf defense will be the best we have played outside mizzou. White is coming along and is showing flashes. For the record, I of all people can understand your frustration. However, I think many of you are wrong and it is too early to think Taggart isn't cutting it. Now, I will say, he has done some dumb stuff. I really scratched my head at substituting Quinton flowers on that one drive. Taggart does have room to improve. Realistically though, there is no magic bullet, no quick fix, no overnight solution and some of you just aren't being realistic. I think your fanbase has a sense if entitlement of whigh in have no idea why you do. Perhaps it was your meteoric rise that gave you this, but college football is a game of ebb and flow. USF will be back, just not on your timeline. That is how it will be..you can't change it..trust me..I know. If Willie Taggart wins less than 6 games next years then you fire him. Otherwise, you just don't build these things overnight. Looking foforward to the game Friday. It will be a close game. USF will play their best game and we should match the intensity. ..hopefully. We have a better QB and better secondary, but everything else is a wash.
