    The World Cup has turned into a joke. The games are no longer about who made great plays, but what the referees called. This will be just another game to a list of referee decided games. 1) USA v. Italy 2) South Korea v. Switzerland 3) Portugal v. Netherlands 4) Italy v. Australia

    There was a College Football preview magazine that I was breezing through. In the back they had some interviews with several college cheerleaders and I believe the young lady above was in there. What also caught my attention was that they said she was from "South Florida University", :. Good to see the green and gold across the nation

    We Americans have been wrong for many years now. The Earth does not revolve around the sun. Every 4 years, for one month in the summer, the Earth changes it's orbit and revovles around a mysterious sphere that is white and covered with black spots. How could we have been so wrong?

    Sorry, but you're only half right. US basketball is down right now, because the players don't play and they are cocky. I have a feeling Coach K will turn it around. He started off on the right foot by only inviting players he knew would work (not Iverson). Why do you think Puerto Rico got a bronze medal in Athens? Wasn't better players. It was a better TEAM.

    Why are US teams struggling internationally? Because, we no longer play the sport with purity. We use multi-million dollar athletes that are great, but do not understand the concept of a team or the concept of respect. Wish we could go back to the days of using college athletes instead of pros.

    Just take the results with a grain of salt. Remember we ended up playing in the "group of death". If we had been in a different group, we might have moved on. It is a dissapointment that we did go 0-2-1, but we'll be back in 4 years.

    Another bonus for Pitt to play at Heinz Field is that they have their own separate lockerroom made just for them, along with a college visitors lockerroom. For those saying that there is no need to build a bigger stadium then what we have in attendance. That's foolish thinking. You spend X amount of dollars for a stadium that meets your current needs. Then turn around in 5 years and have to expand because attendance went up. If we do decide for a OCS, we need to plan ahead.

    Here's the catch, USA plays Ghana before the Italy-Czech game. So we have to go for the kill no matter what, as opposed to knowing what we had to do before hand.

    yeah, theres 7 different scenarios out there, but I just listed the two that are most likely to happen.

    USA scenarios to advance. 1) USA beats Ghana. Italy beats Czech Republic. 2) Italy ties Czech Republic 0-0 or 1-1. USA beats Ghana by at least 4 goals. GO USA

    Can we call it a rivalry yet? The last four games have been split 2-2, each going to the home team. Plus, some of their fans are starting to call it a rivalry. November 18th, should be interesting.
