  1. USF colors are Green (PMS 343) and Gold (PMS 4515) not Green and White USF Official Logo and Colors USF established a new visual identity in May 2003 with the launch of a fresh new logo and brand identity. A team of USF graphics designers developed 20 different logo ideas, and more than 300 faculty, staff and students participated to offer input and feedback. The new logo has a strong and sophisticated look and feel and portrays the university's aspirations toward becoming a nationally prominent Research 1 University. The new green and gold color scheme uses a slightly darker green and shifts from the yellow to a more golden hue. This classic design style is bold and crisp, and more versatile for a variety of needs and uses. David Fink, along with colleagues from USF's University Relations graphic design team, developed the logo design. http://www.usfalumni.net/traditions.htm
  2. What happened to the rule which required non-qualifiers who went to a JUCO, to earn an associate's degree before being eligible to play at a D1 school?
  3. It's surprising that with getting in the Big East and becoming a "BCS Team" ticket sales actually dropped off.
  4. I like the color of the jerseys, but it's not the correct shade of green for USF. IMO the swoosh shouldn't be next to the iconic u on the pants.
  5. News & Notes Briefs and news of note. By Times Staff Published August 8, 2006 Bullish behavior ends the run of Lucky George Lammlein of Floral City bottle-fed Lucky the bull and raised him like a member of the family. So when Lucky wandered into a neighbor's yard Monday, the 69-year-old Lammlein went to retrieve him. But Lucky turned on Lammlein, pinning him to the ground between a fence and a golf cart, breaking his left ribs and squashing his groin. Lammlein was taken to Tampa General Hospital. And the bull? "He's lucky no more because now he's going to be 1,200 pounds of hamburger meat," Mrs. Lammlein said. http://www.sptimes.com/2006/08/08/Tampabay/News__Notes.shtml
  6. Day game... you wouldn't be there. And neither would many other ticket holders.
  7. Source that supports your claim...Link?? The conversation on this board has supported it ..... the fans who want the game are in the minority. Oh! and next you're going to claim that this board represents the viewpoint of the majority of USF students, alumni, and sports fans.
  8. Just imagine what the attendance would be if they played it a 2pm on a Friday afternoon.
  9. There's a family with 4 kids that sit in the row in front of me...when they aren't eating, arguing, or fighting they are playing electronic games...they always want to leave early since they are bored out of they gourds...it's like dragging kids who don't want to be there to church on Sundays...when they grow up they stop going.
  10. Chances of Doug taking the Bulls OC job under CJL.....slim to none....however the HC position might be of interest to him.
  11. I second that. The AD overpays the head football coach while the hot and cheerleaders have to go begging for new uniforms.
  12. The root of the problem may not be with the talent on the roster. I believe the "missing piece" lies elswhere.
  13. Source that supports your claim...Link??
  14. And there aren't any post about these polls on a USF message board!
  15. They are what they are....last year they were a 6-6 team...Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
  16. Why should kids get in for free when those seats can be sold to other buyers?
  17. That's what people were hoping for last year.
  18. Surprising journalists and readers won't do anything for the Bulls win-loss stats
  19. Jan 14, 2007 Jim Leavitt retires and Rod Smith is signed to a ten year 250 million dollar contract as head coach. Jan 21, 2007 Dunkin' Brands Inc. reveals it's plans to build a stadium on the USF campus. The Dunkin Donut Bowl will feature massage chairs with built in wireless internet terminals in all of it's 125,000 seats.
  20. I think either he proves his value to the team this year or CJL needs to cut him loose.
