There's been at least 2 games that Bullfrog has stated that he couldn't get a student ticket because they were all taken so obviously the students were aware of the game if that's true. For both games, the student section was half full at best. Interested to find out wtf is going with that and if anybody can confirm.
I have a hunch about this. Back in the day, students had to go pick up a physical ticket in person or have a friend do it. An investment of time (waiting in line, etc) would mean that going through the trouble to get a ticket probably translated to intent to go to the game. Now it’s all online. Grab a student ticket just in case you decide to go. What is the cost to you if you don’t use it? I’m just guessing, but this would explain why the tickets are claimed but not used.

No. Gotta beat the maines and cmus of the world. Thought cmu was a lucky fluke for them. This game was eerily similar when it came to how well they shot vs how crappy we shot.

Imagine how rough it will be for the 40 on-field cops on horseback when huge section of all 25 students decides to storm the field.

Should they? No.
Will they? Probably. I was at the Temple game in 2015 when the team won their 6th game to become bowl eligible for the first time in 5 years and they did. It looked pitiful, but they did.
Yes. That was silly. At very least Temple was a ranked team. (22 I think).

No. Embarrassing. Next time we upset a top 10 team.

Another blown opportunity by the program...wasn't the loss so much but complete beatdown from Fau that killed what fringe support that was possibly building then.
But I'll be at the game...hopefully we get that 6th win.
Yeah. That was the day that a good amount of folks really came out. The outcome was sad. I had a bad feeling about the rest of the home games after that. I really hope people come out for this one, but I think with many of the students out of town, it may not be a very good showing in that north end zone. I hope I am wrong.

You're not wrong to feel this way. I hope our team is only thinking about Saturday, too. Nothing else matters at this point. Lots on the line for us, and although many people will be tuned into other games, we'll be nationally televised in prime time. These are 2 things that typically haven't helped our case in the past.
Go Bulls!

We wouldn't get the starters from those teams but most likely but 2nd and 3rd stringer that never really played for a reason.
Would Prefer getting in portal some FCS all conference players that have produced even if at FCS level...especially if they have great speed.
I like this approach vs getting p5 rejects from the portal. Portal guys (there are exceptions) don’t live up to the hype.

my dream bowl projection is we get matched up with a team with the most inaccurate QB who likes to throw picks. We need to play a running team with a fat slow QB who wears heavy shoes.
This would be a dream. We would have a hell of a shot at winning this one.

I'd rather be kicked in the crotch by Hillary Clinton on live TV than have to deal with the c. Fan base again.
On the bright side, we'd get one more chance to end our relationship without them getting the best of us...so maybe I'd gamble the chance of taking yet another crotch-kick.

My favorite ones are/were:
WVU: Always a great game. Always meant something big to both teams.
UL: We'd trade wins back and forth with these guys.
Buttgers: No matter how bad they were year after year, Schiano always had our number. These guys broke our hearts so many times, that the rage/hatred still lives in me.
UC: Another conference mate dating back to the old days. Always a great game, and the annual "chili cookoff" tailgate will be missed.
Central Orlando: I know many of y'all will say no to this one, but yes. If you are passionate about not listing them as a rival, then you are lying to yourself...You are not indifferent. You HATE them. They HATE us, and we HATE them, and no matter what conference they go to or what conference we are in, we will continue to HATE them.
EDIT: right after I posted this, I realized that every one of these teams would most likely mop the floor with us right now. . Sad.

Nice. Took me a minute.

Can’t get too cocky going into this one. See UAB and FAU.

We are doing everything C. did, and then some.
Them going to the Douche 12 is going to end up being the best thing to ever happen to USF on account of how we reacted
Them going to the b12 is having the same effect as when we 64-12’d them. Made us look in the mirror and say “what do you want to do with your life?” Maybe the kick we needed.

Our rival is ourselves. We can't seem to get out of our own way.

For those who don't want to be the island in a west-coast-based conference you're in luck. It's not gonna happen.
This would put the current MWC schools a notch above the AAC.

Apparently Coach Traitor already interviewed with TAMU
Let's hope he is fully distracted tomorrow with dollar signs
Here's hoping it F'd up their process this week!

It’s not like the options are stay in the same crappy conference as is or make a move it’s going to be stay in an even more crappy conference and receive Christmas cards from ecu every year for willfully contributing to their gain and our continued misfortune. If you aren’t moving up then you are moving down, every time you get a chance to move you should until you are in one of the only two safe conferences.
I agree with this. If something like that happens, take it. We are in no position to be choosy. We are George Costanza.

Yea…I don’t think we should hang our hopes in tomorrow being the day we become bowl eligible…I think the answer is #beatcharlotte
At the same time, we can't go in with that attitude. Have to play this one like its the only game on the schedule. No talk of Charlotte until the clock on Friday's game is at 0:00.

Does anyone have any insight on the rotation? I mean I understand that CAAR wants his players actions in practice and games to dictate the rotation, but does that help our continuity? This loss sucks, but our shooting this game was absolutely off 31% is beyond terrible. We only had 11 TO and still won the battle of the boards. FT shooting was lights out minus the 2 misses at the end.
The craziest part about our shooting being so BAD was that it was like CMU couldn't miss. They were hitting everything for a while there. The one guy from CMU (forgot his name) had a career best night.

Sounds like the team pulled a "Colorado" after winning so big last week.

Years back there was a wing joint in Largo named Mugs n Jugs.
Yep. I think when Hooters started and became successful, we saw lots of new wing joints popping up in the local neighborhood. I can remember: Mugs n Jugs, Knockers, Melons.
My favorite when South Park got into the game with "Raisins"

Also, do you think Deion will be interested in coaching at Colorado once his son is done playing there?
