Philly is the worst sports town. Change my mind. I used to go to Haverford every summer when my mom worked with the college. I loved visiting Philly and Haverford, but the fans were so rude. I remember getting all kinds of crazy stuff said to me at like 13-16 for wearing a Braves hat or a Lightning hat.
Nice mugshot. I think that should be the pic they use in the dictionary for "Philly Fan". But seriously, I clicked it and listened to the entire story. Sounds to me like this was at a Phillies game, and the family he puked on was also Phillies fans. ??? Also, at the end when the on-location reporter suggests that the Phillies provide complimentary tickets to the victims and a limo ride?? That's a really nice idea, but your job as a reporter is to report the news, all the news, and nothing but the news--not to inject your opinion about how this should be handled.
And based on my experience, Philly fans are the worst by far.

A home and home GT series would be great...but a home and home with any ACC team would be fun.
I would love to have ND here.
Purdue (my dad went there).
Mich St. or Michigan would be fun, too.

Great summary. The narrator needs to try some different cadences with his talking. Every sentence has the same inflection. Other than that, vey cool.

2009 defense. Lots of pros on that team.

FSU 2009 for me.

You can always add a new video board on the other side later. Get the **** thing built before some new crisis comes along to postpone it again. Go Bulls!

We talked about this at the game. Instead of focusing on how great USF is, ESPN would speculate about Brown going somewhere else or some other school stealing Golesh.
They are a trash org similar to TMZ and their parent company is a joke.
This is spot on. ESPN is turning college football into the WWE. Soon they’ll add a half hour of rehearsed smack talk showdowns before the game starts.

He pretty much has the starting job here and we are on the upswing at USF football. I guess since college is now just a junior pro league, he could just go where they offered more cash. I really think he could have a great career here. I hope he feels the same way.

That was our “Syracuse moment” we have all been looking for.

We're average regardless of the outcome of this festive matchup against Syracuse. Don't it feel great?
If you ain't looking forward to next season, you ain't a Bulls fan!
We're on our way.
Being average beats where we've been. It's fun to be a Bulls fan again!

Looking at Ticketmaster, the home side, which Syracuse is on, is definitely more full. However, that may include unaffiliated locals.
Or FAU fans who want to root for the cuse in this one.

I’m sure they’ll probably host the Gasparilla bowl too. Though, if they do it needs to come with an understanding that a certain team is not allowed to play in the bowl game. We don’t need that in our stadium.
a small clause in the contract saying that if a certain school is invited to the bowl, then it must be held at rayjay. yeah, they'd trash our beloved stadium and our campus.

Nice win. I didn’t see this coming.

Where they gonna fit the pirate ship?

Ranked #1 with me. The only "must see" bowl on the list is the Boca Raton Bowl. I may catch some others on TV just to watch some football, though.

Definitely a nice road trip to Nashville. I would not mind USF doing a home & home with Vandy someday
That would be a great game. Also would really like to do Georgia Tech again.

We need to get to where we have a have a match-up like we did with WVU in 2007 (I think we were like ranked 16 and they were 5) so both teams need to be ranked with one in the top 10...AND it's scheduled to be played on a Saturday (not a weeknight). Tall order, but it will happen someday hopefully before I'm too old to go.

Now that I got to sleep on it, I woke up with a bit of a different take that I had yesterday.
We just got bad news dumped on us (our stadium is delayed for a year), and they put together 3 or 4 pretty pictures of what a stadium might look like at night to show us so that we'd have something shiny to be excited about. If you really think about it, we aren't any closer to "renderings" than we were before this meeting. True renderings would be much more detailed views of every angle of the stadium. There would be computer-simulated flyover and walk-up animations, etc. We just got a couple of pics to keep us hooked.
Don't get me wrong--I'm very happy this project is happening, and I was happy to see a schedule with dates on it for upcoming milestones. Also thankful for the Champions Way design and donation. But other than that, it seems like the "one year delay" is the most concrete thing that came out of the meeting.
I can wait another year, but please no more delays.
GO BULLS!

I wish somehow we could get the Copper Top back or add a similar college feel sports bar it near the OCS. We need a good dive bar type sports bar near the stadium with good and afford able food and beverages to pregame or watch the games at if people can't get one of the 35,000 tickets. A little dissapointed in the rendorings, but still excited we are finally get our own stadium.
There’s opportunity here. Bring back the copper top!

Conference realignment "Rumors" "tweets" "etc"

If this P2 breakaway thing happens and they "professionalize," then it won't be the end of college football, it will be the beginning of a junior pro league, and the only resemblance of college football that remains will be the teams who are left out. If this happens, the players on these p2 teams will have as much connection with the universities they represent as a pro-sports player has connections with the city he plays in. Just another pro league. Probably just the thing needed to cause the whole thing to implode and we can get back to the good old-fashioned regional conferences and fun rivalries.
