    I agree, Skip's recruiting on the Defensive side of the ball has been horrible....the lack of talent on D is glaring! Our D can never create a turnover and gives up tons of big plays!

    Our Defense is HORRIBLE!!! No Pass Rush, Can't stop the run, constantly give up big pass plays.....to Ball State! This is PAINFUL to watch...

    Among other things, I am very disappointed in Holtz's recruiting or lack thereof! Although he was able to get a quality WR and TE (Montgomery and Price), his recruiting on the defense so far is suspect at best (other than Bivins and Watson). Also, for all of the O Line he recruited a couple years ago, this area appears lacking. In looking at this year's commitments, many of the Defensive recruits (Garcia, Wright, etc.) are projects at best. Holtz needs to recruit better players overall to our program!

    Slick, using your rationale, last year at this time we were 3-0 with an exciting win over Notre Dame prior to imploding. Skip is now 1-7 in Big East home games under his tenure, which is unacceptable and pathetic no matter what. The only reason skip may win a few more Big East games this year is the declining quality of the conference in general (i.e. - adding Temple). Fire Skip, he is pathetic!
