An extension with a 100% bonus as well as lifetime free lap dances at Mons...
I'll kick in some money for the extension! Just win baby! If we can get Yetna back, beat Wichita State the way we should have earlier in the year, we could be Cindarella and crash the dance!

I guess BG has not coached when it is a bad time to foul...
I think BG should get an extension - he won his first conference tournament game in regulation since the 2010-11 season!
He had lost 9 of his last 11 conference tournament games with the only two wins coming in OT.
-
Wow, nobody wanted to win this game.
-
We had a 13 point lead with 3:08 to go. Gregory holding another Masterclass on how to blow a double digit lead late in a game.
-
Temple should just leave Collins unguarded when we inbound the pass. Sending him to the line will get them extra possessions.
-
Need to be ready to adjust if Temple goes to a zone. This offense struggles big against zone defenses.

I love your passion, but your falling into the worm-hole that is the TBP and its wearing on you.....take a step back and relax and look at the big picture. It might make you feel a warm and fuzzy feeling that you are lacking.
A forced hiatus can do wonders for perspective.

I think we actually have a pretty good history of being able to field above average quarterbacks for the respectful levels of football we were playing at the time:
- Chad Barnhardt (1997 - 1998)
- Marquel Blackwell (1999-2002)
- Matt Grothe (2006 - 2009)
- BJ Daniels (2008 - 2012)
- Quinton Flowers (2014 - 2017)
Over a 21 year stretch we had a pretty good quarterback on the roster for us 17 of the 21 years. Now, the last 3 years haven't been kind, but hope our offensive minded HC can find someone in that same ilk as the five listed above. There is a reason to be optimistic.

Yes but CWT had his disastrous start by also following the plan he came here with instead of one that would actually work here, CWT miraculously pivoted to a new philosophy (a rarity in college football). That being said his 2.5 years of failure were completely unnecessary.
Unnecessary? Maybe. Realistic that it takes time turn around a program is disrepair? Yes.

It really is a silly argument, his first year was a bust and no way to spin that. Will he turn it around, who knows, did he show even a glimmer of hope? no, were there challenges? Yes. I am not mad at anyone but not really happy with him either.
I agree. After Year 1 I am not totally sure what we have in CJS, but I am not mad about it. CWT's first 2+ years looked like a mess, but he figured it out. CJS is also a first time coach who is also learning on the fly. If he can find an average quarterback then he'll have a chance for success here.

That works ..... or if you're going to present "evidence" like that, it must be preceded by "BREAKING:"
Breaking evidence? Sounds like Court TV during the OJ trial.
-
Oduro showing up in limited minutes.
-
-
Gregory's buyout is $435k.
-
We are looking at our 8th loss this year by 16 or more points.
-
Our only offense is going to the basket 1-on-3.
-
Offense disappears again late in a half as Wichita State goes on a 12-2 run over the last 3:37 of the 1st half.
-
The last few games reminds me of how it ended for Bobby Pachal where he could barely field a team due to injuries and defections.

Not sure I can classify that as "evidence" any more than the "evidence" that the IPF would be breaking ground in March and be located adjacent to the Selmon ..... not saying whether it's true or not, just not evidence.
That's fair - call it reading the tea leaves then

Yetna is out and Durr is possible. This should be a repeat of Houston, Memphis games. Painful to watch, so I’ll pass and go on a hike.
Heard that Yetna's advisors pushed him to sit out despite him wanting to give it a try today. More evidence that we may have seen the last of him in a USF uniform.
