I am not here to argue who is the better QB but there are several questions here that are not answered before a good sound decision is made.
1. I would guess that the QB's receive evaluations on their performances in practice as well as in games. Game stats are only part of the equation here. Unless all is fully disclosed we can only go on game day performance. We need all material evidence & not part to make a case.
2. Can we believe the explanations given by CWT? How much truth is in it?
3. Are these plays the only ones QF can adequately execute at this time? Grumbling for more variety from QF or coaches may not be possible at this point in time. Are both QB's equal in the amount of plays they are comfortable in executing? Is CWT aware of the plays each does well?
4. Let's compare apples to apples, I would love to know the amount of snaps each QB is getting with the 1st string? Are they equal? You can't expect either QB to be warmed up & ready if they don't get enough practice during the week.
5. Let the other coaches Reaves & Hope be able to speak up & disagree without fear of the wrath of CWT. Is that being done? Since we are not there all we have is CWT's word is that there was a consensus of opinion. Again that is suspect.
6. Remember the 1st yr. CWT was here the offense complained because he wouldn't attend the team meetings & any game plan they worked on he changed on game day unaware of what they practiced. That was supposed to have changed but has it?
7. A lot have posted that some of the players have been more interested in tweeting it seems. I wonder how many players are sitting in important team meetings tweeting or sleeping for that matter & getting away with it?
So until we have all the facts both on the players parts as well as CWT, we are doing the same thing over & over and not getting anywhere in solving absolutely nothing.
